Yes, that's a ridiculously high final play time, but you have to understand that I waste a lot of time by exploring. There's still so much I missed that I had to double back with, thanks to the wiki. Fortunately nothing was really closed off to me.
I just cant believe youre only level 130 with that playtime

I stopped leveling when I felt like I could beat anything in the game with enough time and skill. Was going to stop at 120, but decided another 10 levels wouldn't change much, and gave me a bit more survivability.

The condition to fulfill is a pretty involved NPC quest. I didn't come close to finding on my first run, hope you have better luck.

were you using the right attack type?

stone enemies are weak to strike type attacks; I keep a whip leveled up specifically for this purpose

yea, my main weapon is a cement hammer (I forget its name, but that's basically what it is).

I do pretty good damage against them, but even running around the stage, it's hard to get into a good position - two of them are ranged attackers, and the spear one catches up to you pretty quickly. plus the whole Scarlet Rot thing, which sucks.

ok i beat malenia again solo. Power stanced the giant crusher rather than the greatswords (I was using the greatsword earlier). I just needed that extra damage to make the first phase go faster after dying a bunch. This time I didn't use the boiled crab so had to be warier of her attacks. I still feel like this fight is partly rng tbh. Sometimes she is super aggressive with the waterfowl dance (a few times she used it when her health was only down like 10% wtf). I remember last playthrough she used waterfowl dance about 6 times. This time I only recall 3 of them. 2 in the first phase and 1 in the second phase.

Despite the buffs to the grounded attack speed I still ended up jump attacking most of the time lol. I can tell that it's much faster now which should be helpful for some faster enemies like the black knife ring leader who ill prob fight next after I do the quest again for it..

Those are pretty extensive patch notes. Lots of individual adjustments to weapons and shit. Like to see the improved stability to online multiplayer, because I get disconnected so often during it.

Seems like a latency bug with her fight during online now that registers hits for her heal even when the person isn't there anymore. Will probably get patched back out soon, but pretty funny.

I don't understand the point having multiple characters. For different builds? If you have one character who is at a high ass level and can use everything already then why start up a new character?

Really no reason to start a brand new character for a different build when your original character can be rebuilt or be so strong that can use anything and everything.

I can keep getting Malekith down to his second phase but after that I'm lucky if I get him down to a quarter.

Agreed. I've never liked NG+ because all you're doing is going through the game again. I like building and playing new builds. I don't like having to respec my character if I want to try a different build, and I like my stat spread being as efficient as possible. I started as an Astrologer my first playthrough, and went sword mage for most of the game. I'll build another character for Faith/Str or Dex/Arc.

i started a new character back in late March because I wanted to re-experience the early and midgame again without being too overpowered.
i haven't gone through a ng further than ng+2 though so idk if it ever ramps back up to being "normal". I'll find out for myself one of these days but only playing the game like 2-3 days a week

Weirdest thing just happened. I was summoned to a 3vs1 against Melania. We pummeled her in her 1st form. When 2nd phase started she started with so little HP that it literally took 1 hit to kill her. Weird as fuck.
