I think I did well defending myself D3 but I just had the total wrong gist of the game and just couldn't make myself assume that certain players were scum and look at the possibilities with that in mind. I think I specifically failed at this with Chang and Sultan and I probably woulda jumped into the abyss rather than kill Sultan in the end. TheSultanOfSlam posted... I think you played very well as scum this game and the main reason you got caught out is because everyone else was just so ridiculously cleared, and I was the only one particularly intent on keeping you alive. And town was just broken and filled with good players to boot. If people do think you're dumb, you can take advantage of that by making them underestimate you and think you said or did something that basically confirms you as town because it's dumb. I hadn't been in the game when anything important was happening to build up solid reads (another reason why Sultan just flew under my radar) and everyone else just looked better. The entire PoE was me and I went into the day thinking "oh god I need to murder either Ben or Corrik to survive" and when those looked off the table I was toast. I wrote it up at night, decided I would post it a few hours before deadline so it would have time to be discussed but not too much, and then adjusted my phrasing to his claim without thinking much. I had already decided to claim poison doctor because doing so as poisoner seemed funny. Which was my entire reason for that whole play - I figured I was getting lynched no matter what so I decided to do something weird and insane that would entertain me.
