This is way too early to be discussing setup. I do suspect I'm going to have most of the scumteam on me at some point today though.

Secondly, third parties are not to be humored unless there's reasonable suspicion that one exists.

Thirdly, 5/17 fits the optimal "25-33%" ratio and 4/17 doesn't.

I wasn't in Chang's previous game so in this case I have nothing to go on concerning him.

A lot of people just don't like day 1s though.

But this is what Crescent said on Isquen after the initial comment about his 'still at work' line.

For me it's more a matter of his cadence. My memory is telling me that Isquen was simply not concerned with how he looked early in FFXIV Mafia. He made a godawful vote late in the first day for no damned reason knowing it'd look bad on him. Ulti, for example, specifically leaned town on Isquen day 1 in that game based on the way he was acting. He was quick to attack me for pressuring him off that terrible vote and it made him look even worse. He didn't care.

But there was a newbie who was definitely concerned about his appearance on day 1, and that was Tidus, who was scum. He got away with more than he should've just by being new. In just two posts, I'm already getting vibes from Isquen similar to the vibes Tidus was giving off in FFXIV.

Scum is more likely to care about how it looks than town. Newbie scum falls into this trap early and Tidus certainly did in FFXIV. To make that first post so quickly into the game strikes me as someone who is significantly more concerned about his appearance than he was in his previous game, as town. To follow it up with that kind of useless fluff strikes me as someone posting because he feels he has to.

Isquen's posts generally don't read that great, but it could just be new player reacting poorly, I've been there. I haven't seen enough of him to speak on whether this is normal gameplay for him.

I agree but im thinking on the line of its more of a null thing since he is a new player.
The only thing I dont like is his "im never changing my vote line"
That is what makes me think twice about him.

Corrik gets a pass I think most other players wouldn't, and that's all I want to say about it. This shouldn't have become a big public thing.

I don't think I've seen you give any real reasoning for this despite being asked multiple times. I'd like to hear some thoughts from you on this.

In fairness I added a LOT more as time went on.

I decided to vote him as reaction bait. I thought scum Isquen would immediately countervote me, and town Isquen wouldn't.
