Rushed to the vet they are looking at her...but her breathing didnt sound normal to me my hopes aren't high everything sucks.

Also I'm crying and if she doesn't make it i dont know if I'll be able to stop.

Actually had a dog crawl under a fence and harass my cat but no damage.

I'm sorry to hear that. Our cats often like to rush out the door when it's opened, so I'm pretty worried that something like that could happen if we lose sight of them outside.

There's a big hole above her leg the doctors can try but its going to be expensive and they cant tell what the outcome is going to be. Lots of vulnerable parts that they cant look at til they start surgery.

I really hope shes ok and makes a full recovery.

Nothing i can do but go home while they start the surgery. For obvious reasons they dont want people clogging up the hospital floor.

They'll call in an hour or two if there is something that cant be fixed and they'll have to euthanize her on the table.

Got an update. Good but not great news.

No major organ damage, so shes not in immediate danger. But she had major tears to muscles on both her back legs, likely at least a little bit of a punctured lung, so just a lot of little damage.

Shes going to be on oxygen and we'll see how she is in the morning.

Hope she recovers well. I'd be devastated if anything ever happened to one of my pets.

I basically had a panic attack when one of my cats got out through a broken window screen last year. And that was even though I saw it happen and was able to catch her in under 5 minutes. All I could think of was the worst as I was trying to catch her (she was a former stray who had lived outside for 17 years so I was not remotely confident of getting her back).

Kitty is up and moving around. They think she is going to be okay. Just need to double check on her kidney numbers but they think they were likely just elevated due to temporary stress and dehydration. Possibly able to come home a lot sooner than expected.

Thank goodness. I kept checking this topic to see if there was news on how the cat's doing.

I've been following along with this, hoping your cat would pull through. This sounds like about as good of news as you could possibly hope for after what happened.

I'm living with my sister in her house and he kept pissing all over her stuff. Like specifically only her stuff and only in her room/bathroom. It's been a struggle for many months and she found he had somehow got into her closet and pissed all over her shoes and that was the last straw. It's pretty upsetting but idk what to do about it. Just gotta find somewhere else to live so he can come with me.

The kidney numbers improved to normal. All signs point to her being okay. Hasn't eaten yet but considering what she went through it isn't really anything to worry about.

Plan is to have her come home Friday. She could come home sooner but my dog actually has to have minor ear surgery to drain a hematoma on Friday and so we all agreed it best to bring her home around the same time he'll be recovering so that they can both rest.

He really misses her and we worry he might try to lick her wounds if we bring her home early (they both tend to groom each other).

But yeah, turned out way better than i could have hoped, especially after the number of things the vets were worried about when we brought her in.

Oh and thank you for the well wishes everyone, they really do mean a lot.
