If the weapons scale to your stats and you meet the minimum I don't see why not. You're able to modify standard weapons to scale to different stats once they're at 5+ too.

Were you able to summon a npc? I read from a few posts on reddit that it was added in with patch 1.03. Havent gone back there yet

Yup, and in this case I found the NPC summon and my Mimic Tear to be more reliable than human summons.

My least fave boss is maliketh

i was having a harder time "helping" people beat him in co-op than i did solo because of how much health he gets, mixed with his absurd anime shit

they really, really liked making bosses quadrupedal anime things

Malenia is just not fun. I kinda felt like every time I took on Orphan of KOS in Bloodborne I got a little better each time. This? Fuck this.

i had success with a greatshield, and inflicting bleed. particularly poking from behind it with a great rapier. but you definitely want to block the BS anime flurry hit move, not try to dodge it

honestly, she seems like a burst damage check, not a boss you learn and master over multiple tries. you really have to just out-damage her as fast as you can before she one shots you

Um I imagine there is a boss in the underground area where you access the forest. We're looking for some city but like it just feels luke warm to journey that far and not have even a boss fight. Am I missing something? I got the map but I can't tell where one would be.

I take it you went down the Mistwood elevator? If so, there's a boss you can fight there after you light up the 8 or so torches.

Find something to stunlock her and abuse her openings. Whether that's jumping attacks, Weapon arts, or whatever works for you. She has very little poise and staggers kinda easily.

Yes I just cleared up the other ground area and I was told by the wolf dude to head down here and I did. Is there a boss? Last BIG boss I beat was the magic chick. And I beat her knight and talked to the blue doll chick. I feel like I am progressing correctly. Is there a major boss I am just missing down here? Otherwise I'm just going to heading east to the rot area

I wouldn't call it major, but there are a bunch of shrine-like buildings around the forest (I think 8?). Lighting them all activates a boss.

After a lot of 'splorin' and coming back, I managed to beat Margit. And I managed to do it without putting on armor. I'm sure this isn't sustainable but it very well might be with these NPC summons and ashes.

regarding the furry, you should check the wiki to see what he wants, as that questline leads to an absolutely enormous chunk of the game and plenty of rewards

if you talked to the wolf head guy and are following Ranni's subquest he should tell you who to talk to to get into the city you're looking for. There are a few bosses in that area

When I was farming my imp swords they also dropped some masks that are pretty decent. They're heavy, but in return give good protection and poise, and a bonus stat point. I have the cat version (+2 to INT) and the wolf version (+2 to END, which offsets the weight a little). They're fun, and you look really dumb using them :)

Well now that lichdragon boss looked cool as hell. Katanas kind of tore through him though, but man was the atmosphere great.

With that I believe that is the end of that questline. Now all I gotta' do at this point is leyndall+meeting that dude dung eater's body in the sewers I believe.

Man this place is probably going to take me a minute because it is huge.

I am currently level 111. I've been following most quest lines and have completed some. I'm only to Atlus Plateau and am trying to figure the best way to tackle this.

I know I'm OP. It comes from doing the underground areas before going to Atlus. I thought I was OP towards the end of the Underground and I was but maybe slightly and not even worth mentioning.

I go into Atlus and start clearing places like the side dungeons and caves and I get to a boss and they are dead in 5 or 6 hits for the "weaker ones." (Cat Statue bosses, etc)

I don't know what I could have done about this? The game clearly seems to point you towards Atlus Plateau after you finish the Royal Academy, but almost all the quest lines take you to various areas underground and THEN to Atlus. It's like if you follow the quests you'll 100 percent be OP. I dunno, maybe it's just something I'm experiencing.

But I can't finish the Volcano assassination quests because I need to get to Mountaintop of the Giants to do the third one. TO get there I think I need to beat Leyndell dungeon?

Except Volcano Manor itself I've explored the Western half of Atlus (Including Mt Gelmir) I'm going to finish up Eastern Atlus Plateau proper and the area surrounding Leyndell before going in.

Yeah if I didn't have a summon to distract him, I'm not sure how I would've beaten that dude since he's so fast and his attacks destroy your health bar so you have to stop and heal. I was already SL 125 when I faced him and he was whooping my ass until I whipped out a duo summon (summons with a single NPC couldn't hold his attention long enough) and even then I barely won.

Not looking forward to that fight in NG+

I'd be alright with Rivers of Blood being nerfed. The weapon art is too powerful. Especially with certain talismans and armor. You can enhance it with like 7 different talismans, you can have all 4 talisman slots enhancing it, plus a head piece. Even if they reduced the damage by 50%, it'd be very strong still.

Ran into a bug with my somber smithing stones. I'm trying to upgrade my weapon to +5 and have somber smithing stones 1-4 and a 6. I can't upgrade it to +6 unless I have a level 5 stone, I clearly picked up three lvl 5 somber stones but when I go to my inventory they're not there. This is infuriating, apparently this has been happening quite often to other people.

This needs to be patched asap, these are finite resources and you'd be SOL if you got an item and it's not there when you go to your inventory.

5s are infinite.

Somber 5 doesnt have any lootable drops that give x3, you just picked up regular 5s.

Only summon people by the door, if you summon them from the grace point it'll be bugged.

Just took down all the Bell Bearing Hunters. They are no joke. They do not stagger no matter what kinda heavy damage I did to them. Had to cheese them with my Death Poker flames.

Rennalas shield mechanics are innactive. You cant do anything except run around and slay minions.

A little bored of bloodhound step now, find myself only using the normal dodge roll cause the distance on bloodhound is so far

Good thing this game doesn't have a all emote trophy because I definitely missed that one, lol. Its pretty cool people are still finding things like this out.
