In all serious though it was a very cute movie. Teared up a few times watching it with my daughter.

The animation style was very much a downgrade to their usual quality. Pretty disappointing.

Um, disney has pretty much ALWAYS normalized furry culture, I would imagine a good percentage of all furries became that way due to Disney movies/films etc.

I mean girls with cat ears are super hot, but you know, I have always wanted them to actually be HUMAN girls with cat ears. I don't quite get the whole furry thing tbh. I guess a human shaped cat woman with light fur but still basically human (but has like a tail and cat ears) could be sexy (just not like they did it in cats), but I would have to meet one in reality to really know....I think it might just be a bit too weird for me to be turned on by.

Now a totally human chick with normal skin, that has cat ears AND a cat tail? I'm down for that.

Not so much "normalizing" but outright helping to build it. A lot of Disney's stuff -- intended or more likely not -- feels pretty foundational.

The scene where they combine the chant with the boy band pop song is really well done

Watched it. Felt like a high-tier Dreamworks movie rather than a Pixar movie.
