I got this cinammon scented one today (along with a bunch of others) from dollar tree (they were 1.25 each not $1!! liars!!).

Anyway it's been going now for something like 6 hours and still looks like it's only like halfway gone.

Pretty amazing if you ask me. I mean, I have used candles before, so I'm not like a total candle newb, but I don't remember them lasting so long. This one is in a glass and I guess that makes it last longer, the ones I used to get were usually long and burned down much faster.

Could totally just light one up a day (candle, not drugs) and scent your house for just 1.25!! Glad i bought like 10 of em (mostly vanilla though sadly this is the only cinnamon.)

As a cat owner I can't do candles. But I do like wax burners. You should look into them. They are pretty cheap too.

Trip, I looked em up on amazon, I had never heard of that before. I may get one. I do kinda like the candle flame though, but I could just use them for dark nights (not batman) and use the wax warmer/burner during the day.

Yeah, just don't get the cheap no brand ones since it is one of those things that can totes burn your house down.

I loathe scented candles. And actual candles are kind of pointless in the modern era. But the artificial battery-operated fake ones are occasionally kind of cool.

Well seeing as I was one of those people who lost power for a week during the winter storms in Texas last year I am grateful I happened to have them for light and warmth.

I live out on an island near olympia WA surrounded by trees with constant cloud cover. When the power goes out, it's pitch black. No light at all. Last time I didn't even know where the flashlights were (luckily Ihad my phone for some light). It's crazy dark though, you are basically blind.

That was awhile ago and I planned on getting candles since then but didn't till today, so it'll be nice for that, and also for the scents. I'm gonna be doggo watching for 10 days or so, and the candles will help fight the doggo fart smells lol.

Was that only last year? Geez, my sense of time is a mess since COVID.

Well left unattended anything like that can cause a fire. It's why they ask that people don't leave a campfire going unattended.

My candles are in a glass on top of a plate on top of a strong wood cabinet that wouldn't catch fire if you put a flame right up on it....so it's pretty safe.

I have a cereal milkshake scented candle I got from Aldis sitting in my room right now, waiting for me to light up, so I can light it up ;)

I also have one in my kitchen Ill turn on, on occasion. My housemates dont understand why its nice to have your house smell like cookies/salty beaches/fruit medleys, but their girlfriends LOVE it. I try to swap out the specific flavor I use with the seasons.

At some point, Ill spend $40 on an essential oil diffuser. My folks have like 4 in the old house, and it smells amazing. Less of a fire hazard too

Additionally, burning a corpse to destroy the evidence is NOT as easy as people think it is.

Btw, second day with same candle. I blew it at at about 1-2 am when I went to bed, so about 12 hours after lighting it. It's been going for about 2 hours today, wonder if it'll make it to 24 hours total before it dies.

I make my own earwax candles. They smell like me.

well it will most likely destroy dna evidence the killer left, but it will create more evidence, and it won't get rid of the body unless it's an incinerator.
