Death taking any of the Ben stuff that seriously is a bit strange, and I find that whenever Death doesn't exactly match my thought patterns, he's scum.

Ben understands well that newbie town get mislynched a lot. Trying to put a newbie into a bad spot early is very low ev. That's like the first thing he did. Major bad vibes tbh

And for the record, I don't really think Ben's stuff says much about his alignment, I'm just not a fan of Death's response (or re-response).

IGCD is always fluffy but I agree that we need to see a bit more content from him.

Also, speaking of comparing previous games, Scare contributing positively to this game is a major town tell even if it's a couple of posts early on. Town/Scum Scare (Fastbreak, for those of you unaware or who have sigs off like me) is like night and day. I can't say I'm exactly certain yet two pages in, but those of you who've played with him before or even just in last game will know scum Scare tries to slip under the radar and survive a few days and not much else.

My take from this is I need to mix it up and be more useless as town now and then

I know you don't come around the Magic the Gathering topic, but over there Ulti can come off as being a bit dramatic and maybe taking things (even random luck) a bit too personal sometimes. I was just trying to gauge whether or not red fucked up the game or if Ulti was just taking it personally. Since some of the others suggest red's logic for eliminating Ulti in the situation was a bit sus, maybe it's a little of both.

Chris trying to make sure the newer people aren't targeted too hard is adorable (and probably a fair enough play, since I think their alignment often becomes obvious fairly quickly. If they're town, D1 is probably the time you mislynch them because when you don't know what you're doing, nobody has any leads, and people not used to the pressure might come across as scummy safe lynches rather than just unsure).

I know you weren't in the last game but Tidus survived to end game as scum. He doesn't get the newbie protection anymore >_>

Considering some of this group have probably played upwards of a hundred games, I think he still has to be considered a newbie, but I take your point and shall consider his protection revoked.
