MadDewg 02/26/22 2:22:58 AM #51:	ultimate reaver posted... margit is a weird choice for how early you can find him because he doesnt feel like an early or even mid game DS boss. his moveset is incredibly reactive to yours and really complex and varied compared to even a lot of bloodborne bosses, and the way he fights you really makes it feel like they want you to learn to fight him a particular way I also did not learn until all after the fact that there is a item that can stun him for about 3 seconds (like with father gascorne and the music box in bloodborne) that the player could have bought off minor spoilers ~~patches in that one cave~~. Really, really bad at the combat so far, mostly cheesed him with the Magic Glintblade spell but whatever works. I was surprised at just how quickly basic guards can wreck your shit and then surprised that I was surprised because that's the first thing they tell you about Dark Souls. You have a numbered amout of points of it. (For example I have 77, so using something that cost 3 would bring me down to 74.) If you wanna see how many you have, check out equipment menu and look to the right side under HP. If you want the in game explanation (on PS5/PS4 at least,) open up the equipment menu and press the TouchPad button in the middle of the controller, then click on explanation. Then another message was like "secret passage go down" near one of the elevator platform things. So I go down and nothing happens except for me dying. The messages sometimes lie? I also see stuff like "rump ahead", yes rump not jump. I see it behind statues sometimes. Altho sometimes in the middle of nowhere, it seems. Is this a reference to something? I never played any of the dark souls games lol just demon souls. --- I'm a Taurus I like collecting headphones and iems. My fave game of all time is DMC 3 SE on PC w/ style switch mod. I'm still like level 24 with a plus 2 uchigatana and a plus 1 twinblade so my physical attacks wasn't doing much to it, but the basic glintstone pebble sorcery along with bringing 5 cerulean tears flasks tore that dragon's noggin up. ~~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlRrXPgGOIM~~ I believe I beat all those overworld bosses at the beginning point of the game now, so when I get up later I am actually going to do the first actual dungeon of the game like I am supposed to by now.
