No reason whatsoever they get won't do well - being part of Hololive will already give them a big boost and male streamers in the west dominate streaming anyway. The roles being open is not the same thing as finding people who fit those roles. I have no doubt it's gonna happen. Hololive is a huge brand right now so they're gonna get a lot of applicants. Because of the way Twitch is and whatnot, generally guy streamers are bigger there, and the major girl streamers frequently join popular male streamers' shows and whatnot. But on the JP side, it's getting less toxic by the day but on a snail's pace. I still remember the time Watame had to publicly apologize for just talking about how she said hi to a Holostar member she ran into in their office. It's so stupid and completely understandable why Stars were generally dissuaded from collabing with girls ever. I just hope Holo actually has a strategy in mind. I feel like NijiEN boys just went for the pretty boys/otome game style market. Them being mostly British probably helped a bit with the appeal.
