Yeah, I couldn't figure out what the freaking word could be based on my 3rd guess, nothing freaking fit. I had the last 2 letters but ULC as the first 3....I just couldn't find anything with U in the first or third space that would work. Finally after going through all the freaking u consenant combinations I figured it out. Was a real pain though.

Yeah hard mode is how I play the game naturally, I didn't notice a difference either

Hard mode forces you to use letters that you already uncovered. A lot of people play that way normally so you don't see a difference, however it prevents you from throwing out random guesses for the sole purpose of eliminating letters. For example, when the Worlde was 'Light' a few days ago, if you had revealed _IGHT, you might not know if the word is Light, Tight, Sight, Right, Night, etc. On Normal Mode, you can throw out a word like TRANS to eliminate many of those possibilities. On Hard Mode, you can't since you're forced to use I G H and T.

Ohhh I see now. Yeah I dont play that way anyway. I would have just cycled thru all of the _IGHT words until I got it, lol

Before switching to Hard Mode, I would've thrown out random words, but now I have to think a bit more in between guesses. I think it helps me get uncommon trickier words in fewer guesses, but now easy words that rhyme with many other words can be scary lol
