I think McDonalds is underrated... if you happen to have a high quality McDonalds in your area it makes a lot of difference.

Mcdonalds has better hashbrowns and I like their sausage on their breakfast sandwiches more.

That being said, I prefer everything else more from Whataburger, EXCEPT their Taquitos. As a company founded in Texas I have no idea how those PoS ever made it on the menu.

I like McDonalds fries a little more. And while I think I like their breakfast more

In the sense that I have to drive more than a thousand miles to eat Whataburger but for about 5 minutes to get McDonalds, McDonalds pretty much wins by default.

Idk the McDonald's near me have really good quarter pounder deluxe burgers. They're pretty pretty decent for the speed.

The value of McDonald's to me is they are consistent. I've been to many and the quality is almost always the same. I prefer burger King if it's a good bk. But that's the problem I've been to several really bad ones.

I prefer hwy 55 though even if it's not truly fast food.

Reminds me of this one time I tried to write a war epic using various fast food franchises as the 'nations'. LSS The Great Warlord Roland of the MacDonal clan gets slain in battle by the King of the Burger Wastes and it kicks off a mad scramble for power among all the other nations. I originally intended the young, and fiercely independent fire mage Wendy, one of the few 'humans' in the setting, to finally manage to defeat the King and win with several other nations growing, surviving, or being outright destroyed.

Basically I just wanted to have fun writing a war epic and decided to do it with fast food soldiers.

From what I remember last, McDonalds hamburger is economically the most money-efficient for cash-to-calories.

Yea. That's a huge part of the health problem in America. You got people who don't have time ordering food laden in fats and salts for lunch in portions that are, frankly, too large, before going to spend hours sitting or standing.

I would almost say they're underrated. everyone says they're crap but they're actually not that bad depending what you get and how fresh it is.

Well I wouldn't have said they were overrated two years ago. They provided cheap, quick trashy food.
However now that they decided to raise their prices to that of actual restaurants. I hadn't figured out anymore why anyone would go to them.

I wish they still where. I live in the rural south where youd think they don't give a shit but most restaurants in the past few years I've noticed either don't salt their fries or use so little they may as well have not salted them.

Kinda irks me cause anyone with half a brain doesn't go to a fast food joint with the expectation of healthy food. If we want no salt we can ask for it

McDs is overrated but it was the first national fast food burger chain and most kids who grew up in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980's 1990s etc etc had their first burger and fries at a Mcds.

Chick-Fil-A is the best anyway.

Yeah, this. I think it's appropriately rated as decent to good as far as fast food goes...but not great in the big picture.

I am pretty sure for most people it is the only option. Ever town in the world probably has at least one McDonalds (some probably 2-5).

That said, it is not horrible, but I really only eat there when I have no other options. Even then, I never eat their beef or fish.

Now I want nuggets.
