Been on a break from the game but just did almost all of Three Realms and the other event last night. Just have a few stray chests and the boss rematch to clean up.

Took all evening but actually wasn't too bad. Phew.

Yeah, I feel pretty confident in saying Yelan is the second best waifu design in the game. Eula is my favorite still, but man Yelan is beautiful

So are both of the new characters 5* or is one 4* like they've been doing?

Been juggling this, Halo, and GT7. I bought Elden Ring and still haven't played it. Actually, I started a Persona 4 Golden run so throw that in my rotation of games currently, too.

I bought the Ukraine bundle on Humble and haven't touched a single game from it because I've been playing almost exclusively Cities Skylines lately.

If I don't have either, I should just ignore Venti and wait for Kazuha, right? I do like Venti more as a character but Kazuha is just better from what I gather. Also I really do not need more XL (C6) and Sucrose (C4) cons.

I'm on guarantee and was saving for Dendro but if we are getting 2 or 3 more patches out of Inazuma I think I've got some room.

Venti is mostly used for small-sized (model wise) enemy mobs he can suck into his Burst and otherwise I dont think hes used much in combat. Hes pretty great for an extra boost in height exploring the world though. Im pretty sure general combat wise hes considered worse than Kazuha or Xiao though?

Venti was considered the top character in the game for the first 6 months of Genshin. He was so overpowered, arguably, that the devs had to change their design philosophy to compensate since they couldn't just nerf him. He's been swept aside as a result of these design considerations, but they won't necessarily continue forever. That said, he's still a very good character, even if he can't lift heavy enemies. The main thing that hurts his playrate is not the design changes so much as the existence of Kazuha since Kazuha (a) circumvents most of the downside of heavy enemies, (b) is generally considered to be more fun to play due to his short E cooldown, and (c) fits into certain specific meta comps better. So in the existing game, if you were offered a choice between Venti or Kazuha, you take Kazuha, but we have no idea when Kazoo's actually getting a rerun and as soon as Sumeru comes out, I'm gonna bet the biggest part of what drives Kazuha is going to falter...because who the heck knows what dendro reactions will be like, but I can bet you good money it won't involve a fifth swirl element.

With Hydro having the least amount of characters compared to the other elements, Id imagine theyre holding back until they release Dendro, makes sense.

Kuki and Yelan have some really nice animations. Havent explored The Chasm yet really, but hoping to get a bunch of it done this weekend. It looks pretty cool visually, but thats basically every area of this game

Damn 1* away from 9* on floor 11. I gotta try 12 still, but not exactly feeling optimistic considering the enemies in it and me never getting even 2 stars on 12 period yet >_>

New event going on and I guess Im supposed to have cleared Kokomi and Ayato character quests to even start it. Oops. Guess Ill have to do those then.

Oh never mind theres a Quick Start thing now that actually lets you just start the event without doing them. Very surprised.

I usually have Raiden in that last slot, but I just needed like 200 XP to get Diona up to 70 so I didn't have to waste any books on her.

Venti still the GOAT. Never a dull moment when he gets screen time.

Just a heads up, this new event seems very time consuming and with multiple little quests unlocking daily. Id recommend knocking them out as they unlock and not waiting til the last days to rush and complete them all.

Ayatos story quest seemed like a prerequisite, but someone mentioned that you can skip it for the event, so maybe not. Id still complete it though to get it out of the way.

Lisa friendship level 10! The struggle was real. She will be benched. Atleast until I get her C6.

EDIT: looks like they changed the artifacts from abyss to the new sets. On the one hand, I guess they're better than Gladiator's and Wanderer's. But on the other, the new sets have their own domain...

I need to try floor 12 still for the current abyss. I still need to do most of The Chasm as well, but havent had too much time again recently.

Chasm has definitely been on the backburner. I am up-to-date on the event, though I guess new stuff unlocked today...

Mihoyo needs to really get their act together when it comes to quest conflicts

I should not need to start a second quest to progress in my first quest, then need to return to the first quest in order to complete the second quest.

Just finish all the quests so there's only ever one in your log. Then there's no conflict!

I have the same issue. If only I wasnt lazy with the quests. Also Im totally asking for Sara hangouts the next time we get a survey. Need more time with one of the best Genshin waifus

Ive been playing Genshin wrong for so long. Totally forgot to use the Adventures Handbook for finding certain enemies. Ive just been going off memory of where I think they spawn.

Fun fact, the first time this happened to me was actually during the Enkonomiya event, one of the *that event* enemies actually knocked me off the island, which of course meant all energy got reset along with their HP so it was a welp moment.
