Yelan is so good looking. I still need a few more materials for the final ascension and to crown her talents maybe. Im gonna crown Yoimiya too most likely. I still have so many artifact sets to fix it feels daunting as fuck though :(

I could go for a C, but then I wouldnt have currency for future characters. Sounds like shes pretty great even at C0 though

C1 is basically a Sacrificial weapon for her.

I dont think I got anything of note for mine. Sure would be nice to get more Cs for characters I dont have or to get characters I dont have. Most of the time theyre not on banners I want to risk pulling on though (god can Sara be on a non-Raiden banner I care about please lol)

Yelans skill is pretty cool. Using it recharges some stamina, can tag as many enemies as you can find while using it and she can also ignore physical shields the Hilichurls use with it too. I brought her to the boss in the chasm and saw her skill do a 17k hydro. That feels crazy to me since my characters are never built optimally. Her burst combined with Yoimiyas skill got some good numbers too for me. One shot I did hit for 35k and I still dont have her built ideally either yet. Totally worth pulling her for me

And I got Qiqi'd today, too...except mine was hard pity off the standard banner. At least it was your first Qiqi, though, so you at least got a new character? (I know that didn't make me feel better when I got Mona on Ganyu's original banner.)

Oops havent even started the event yet since I was busy playing with Yelan and doing Ittos character quest. I wonder how long before we have more oni characters. Surely well see a girl one at some point too

I see what you mean by that, but WOW I used the trial Yelan since I figured shed have better stuff along with trial Yunjin and my Yoimiya and it made me feel like a whale seeing the damage Yoimiya was pumping out. I killed one of those damn transforming Geovishaps before it could even infuse with an element lol

I am absolutely gonna pull for Shinobu though. I wonder who else will be on the banner aside from her and Itto. Gorou probably? Not sure on the 4th though.

yeah, maybe qiqi can support my keqing team. i'll probably welkin blessing up and try to hit yelan before her banner runs out and maybe splurge on gems to get her if i'm close enough by the end. from what i'm seeing she is a very strong character and even fits into my eula/raiden team

Gathering these Toki Alley Tales books and never realized each one had 10 pages to find. I got up to 8-9 for most of them so its just trial and error hunting down the spots for the last ones.

I tried to catch up to do the tea event and after marathoning story missions I finally got the teapot but I can't go inside after putting it down. From what I'm reading, I need to have coop on the first time I try? I don't seem to be able to, which might be because I'm in the middle of a story mission?

.you gotta be kidding me. The last set of 10 pages can only be fished up meaning its RNG? The fuck Mihoyo

Who is even ideal for this event bow anyways? Also fished as much as I could yesterday until there were no fish in Inazuma and got 1 page. Only 6 more to go lol

I'm not sure what you're referencing, but the teapot automatically puts you in co-op mode. You can tell because even in menus, your characters continue to say their idle lines.

As for the tea event, I was able to do the main part of the event without even entering the teapot. The last bit is just for if you want to give your characters you've set out in the teapot some of the stuff you've seasoned...which is entirely optional as far as I'm concerned.

Is there anywhere that tells you what numbers you want stat wise for characters? Ive found stuff that says what main/sub stats to go for, but nothing like what kind of numbers youd want for Crit rate/DMG, ER/EM, ATK, etc for anything for the character to be good

It's very relativistic. What do you consider good, and based on what weapons, artifacts, and team set-ups? Seldom does anyone have character-specific info for this except where ER is concerned. It's usually just CR/CD is an high of a 1:2 ratio as you can get, with as much additional ATK on the side as possible. But what is considered a good ATK on Xiangling is far lower than on most other pyro DPS, which is why she benefits so heavily from Bennett. But 4 star vs 5 star character with 4 star vs 5 star weapon obviously already makes a pretty wide gap in terms of ATK.

There are a few specific exceptions I can think of. Ayaka or Ganyu on Blizzard Strayer try to keep their printed crit rate under around 40% so they don't overcap, for instance. There are ATK vs ER splits for Raiden that determine which kind of sands you use. I don't think you're going to find a single repository of values, though. The best you can do is look at character guides for the individual characters.

Event shop cleared. That was some fun gameplay.

I finally got around to that geo wolf boss on the map since I want to ascend Yunjin for my Yoimiya team, but I dunno what the fuck Im doing on this boss. My only built Geo character is Noelle and she doesnt seem ideal for this boss at all. It spends so long flying outside the range of auto bow attacks and shit I kinda hate fighting it. I beat it once, but almost had a few characters die without food.

I explicitly didn't bother with the spiral abyss that forced you to kill it. Not the first time I got introduced to a boss fight via abyss, but I had absolutely zero interest in learning that fight.

Apparently Ningguang is ideal to deal with it, but mine is only like lv40 or 50.stupid wolf boss. Ascending Yunjin more would probably get me the last star on floor 11 though and possible let me get some stars on floor 12 so it should be worth it. Yoimiya, Yelan, Yae & Yunjin looks like a really solid team to run

And I think I did kill it once, primarily relying on Albedo for the geo damage. I'm obviously not the best person to advise on this, though.

Haha not really, but they do work great together. Yae for the electro turrets and her burst damage, Yunjin burst to increase Yoimiyas damage, Yelan burst to apply hydro and Yoimiya skill to do insane damage.

Well even my non-invested Ningguang is helping with the fight so thats cool. I dont have any Cs on Yunjin, but she will still provide a Normal Attack boost to Yoimiya. In other news I could R5 Dragons Bane now for Hu Tao whenever I get her proper artifacts. Im not sure DB is all that amazing on most other spear users I have so maybe its worth doing.

Oddly, I had an R5 Dragon's Bane before I even owned most other 4* weapons. I just took it as understood that people had it available to them and it was on Xiangling since the beginning.

I know you can insert the pic of Xiangling in front of a Game-of-Thrones image built out of the polearms in the game, but Dragon's Bane worked very well for me with her through the early game.

Then again, I also didn't know what I was doing, so I probably would have thought anything was working very well.

Im trying to build my Yae and need a Sands and Circlet with the right stats still. One of the pieces is from the Gladiator line and holy shit how do I have 250+ Sands and Circlets and not a single worthwhile one for either on Yae :(

31* abyss. Bit lower than the last few cycles, but I feel like I'm doing a better job of dodging these enemies. I remember throwing my controller when fighting geovishaps and Maguu Kenki. Also the first time I cleared floor 12 without my faithful crutch, Ganyu. In fact, a certain Outrider actually made an appearance

Anyway, sometimes getting 27 + 3 or 27 + 6 is victory enough for me in Abyss. From the sounds of things, I think you ought to be pretty pleased with those results.

alright i bit the bullet and bought some primos to hit yelan today because I got close enough.

Only missing Jean for my desired team now I think. Eula/Raiden/Yelan/Jean. For now it'll just have to be Diona, Barbara, or Qiqi (if I actually decide to build her). If I wanna sac healing altogether then I can go Rosaria but I take way too much damage whenever I try that.

I haven't messed around with the Abyss runs too much at all because I haven't fished for the Raiden weapon and don't have artifacts or talent skill points for Raiden or Yelan yet.

Second team if I did run the abyss would probably have to be Keqing/Xingqiu/Xiangling and whatever other healer I'm not using on the other team.

I am pretty interested in whether or not Kiku Shinobu might fit on a Eula team though, people on reddit seem to be speculating that she might be a good fit.

Without looking at leaks, I'm confident Cookie will have a place on at least one team I might build, just because she's an electro healer.

Amber.....is cute and I like her. I went with her as a quick swap burst support instead of Xiangling. In fact, I tried Xiangling instead of Bennett, but ultimately decided on more healing (guess I don't dodge geovishaps well enough after all). I did smile a bit whenever Baron Bunny drew aggro, but that was more of an added bonus than an strategy decision.

I'd been getting 34 stars in abyss the past few rotations, so going backwards kinda sucks, but I'm not in a rush to get 36. it'll happen when it happens, or it won't. 'S'all good

EDIT: and I finally completed the prerequisite Chasm quest, so now I can do the event...with a little over a week to complete it.

It's not like the first one was hard. I basically perfected on my second run after knowing what the UI looked like on the first one.

Haven't done the second one yet, but if it's more challenging, then I'm eager to find out.

edit: I dunno what you mean about the button options, though, because I'm playing on controller. Left, down, right, and the equivalent buttons on the right. Felt pretty natural to someone who's played Amplitude.

I felt like the original rhythm event was a lot easier than this one. I mean point wise they clearly lowered the amount you need to clear the event even on Pro, but it has been a lot harder for me to get the button inputs right. Like it really fucks with my brain lol

When half your B team on Abyss 12-2 dies and you still manage to finish 12-3 with 2 seconds left on the timer. Thought for sure when I was down to just Yelan and Diona I was doomed. Going to retry and hopefully keep Yae and Yoimiya alive against Maguu.

I felt like the original rhythm event was a lot easier than this one. I mean point wise they clearly lowered the amount you need to clear the event even on Pro, but it has been a lot harder for me to get the button inputs right. Like it really fucks with my brain lol

Not that the other one was hard, but this one's way more comfortable for me because all the rhythm games I've played have been the falling notes variety. I had never seen one like the original events...but I'd also never heard of Osu before that.
