Bleh figures one I want 3 item sets for (Raijin, Edgar, Lightning) has a short season. Not sure I can take Blue Dragon to get Lightning's for free either.

Edgar's comes back in the Bio labyrinth if you want to focus on getting the other two earlier.

Man I put like 40 record makers into the Prompto labyrinth and I didn't get a single gun, WTF!

I was gonna focus on Raijin + Lightning first but that's good to know if it's a problem to get 5/5 on someone-- go harder for Raijin

For once physical was easier than magic. It took me a few more tries to figure out how to keep the team alive, but once I did my time was more than 9 seconds faster. Kain's DA+Awakening 1+G+ combo was awesome, even though I only landed one attack that wasn't during maze guard (or whatever it's called). But when I did it hit for 39k * 6 * 4 to finish him off.

This was my first time doing a WOdin with only 3BDL; my chain ran out at about 6% at 25s or so and Garnet died immediately after, leaving me to claw my way through the last few %

I've started saving my tickets for the next refresh when they add DAs. There's nothing in the current pool I need that much... the only content I haven't cleared is DB XI and there's not much in that realm draw that would even help me.

I'm not sure whether I should keep fishing in Tactics or move on to another realm (maybe XII?) or even element; gonna try to clear magic easy mode BD now so I guess I'll have to choose imminently unless I can't get it done!

I didnt even end up using Ramza (I dont have him 6* dived so I figured Id try it with TGC first), though the Alma sync I got today was probably crucial to the sub-30 since it lets you get multiple astras. TGC actually ended up contributing a ton with his dyad+dualcast USB combo; the finisher maxed out, which was like half of P3 in one attack. I actually beat it on the first try with the chain and BDL running out at like high single digit hp with a decent amount of time left (maybe like 25s in to the fight?), but I sat around like a dumbass for several seconds doing pitiful damage because I forgot that cardia chain had three uses rather than 2, so I ended up with an almost 33 second clear. Then the next few times I tried I was way slower for some reason; eventually got it, though!

First two record markers gave me a perfect Prompto gun and Ricard spear. Hell of a start. Next two definitely not great lol (3% Aranea armor, 0% Prompto armor).

Thanks! Yeah Ramza doesn't seem very good. Still, I have nothing for Ceodore so once I get around to lensing a holy chain it might end up coming in handy anyway (though Ceodore looks a lot better if one had his stuff...)

Got 4/5/8 for Lightning and Raijin so I switched over to the top lab for a bit. I somehow already got 5/5/8 for Prompto after two runs; I must finally have the desire sensors tricked!

Main thing holding Ramza (and most of the FFT cast) is that FFRK's staff has to go through licensing deals with the Tactics team before a new FFT event happens, but Ramza is a main character so maybe he can get something in fest banner. It's still gonna be hard for him to be viable with bosses being so bulky these days and his damage has been lacking since the dreambreaker days.

Yeah, he's nuts! I forgot, do you have his dual awakening? I'm combining that with his first awakening that gives +2 BDL, it's great.

Sadly I'm missing his Dual Awakening and his Dyad. I can only imagine how insane he'd be if I also had those.

I kinda forgot his Dual ASB actually existed and thought the Dyad was the only relevant relic I was missing.

How much mythril are we likely to get before the end of fest? I have 298 right now, and would like to spend at least 450 (a little more would be ideal to do a few LotRs): one pull each on B1 and B2, two each on B3 and B4, 100 myth for sync select, and 50 for sync + magic AASB luckies. I could drop the magic AASB one, but would like to do it if I'm pretty confident that I'll have the myth for everything else.

(I do have 15 myth left to farm in realm dungeons).

I think you should be able to get to 450, but you'll want to wait with the 100 mythril select until we're closer to the end of fest.

Fest ends April 13th
- around 50 mythril from daily login and daily mission
- 43 from Gift dungeons
- 40 from fest login
- 15 from easy difficulty of S1 and S2 lab bosses
- at least 2 regular events (20 mythril)
- fest events: 34 mythril (10+17+7)
- DK and Odin missions: 4 mythril
- Next labyrinth boss (I think it's VII): 2 mythril
- April magicite monthly: 5

That's 213 mythril. No guarantee, but should be most of it. We may also get a Dungeon Update, but we won't know until maintenance.

Oh nice, looks like I should probably be safe to do both planned luckies and the B2 draw then. Maybe even an extra B3 or 4 draw...!

I got Steiner sync from my draw ticket the other day.

Does anyone else no longer pull on the Luck of the Realm draws? I stopped pulling on them when I stopped getting 6 star relics from those. 5 mythril for an old 5 star seems stupidly expensive, especially with sync luckies and fest banners to use mythril on. They're the ultimate trap for anyone outside of new players.

They probably should cut out 5* items at this point though. Have done 5 realms on this one and I basically spent 25 mythril on an Alma Glint (which I will use to be fair) and a bunch of bad dupes.

I'd consider pulling on these again if they would cut out those 5* items from the pool, just getting old BSBs that I would have appreciated in 2017 is kinda dumb and if I needed a 5* for something at this point I'd just get it from the lens shop.

As far as I know they haven't done it yet in JP;

While 4% chance at 5* relics obviously sucks ass, at this point your odds of getting a 7* or AASB are probably around 4% too.

I mean the sheer glut of items you get means on average you won't be screwed. It really depends on your needs though. Like if your team can clear all current content I wouldn't because you need to save up to stay on top of power creep. If you're playing from behind though it's kinda hard for 10 rop draws to be worse than a 1/11 (which you get fairly often on banner draws)

I do have issues with anything tougher than 6* magicites and even then most of the 6* magicites are a challenge. 2017 stuff isn't helping, can't beat White Odins with dupe non-elemental BSBs!

Anyway, enough about Luck of the Realms, I'm glad I got a lot of treasure maps. Labs are a slog and I would prefer to use maps to get some of the rarer Hero Artifacts..

I had terrible luck last LotR (literally no BDL besides Zeids dyad even counting dupes pulling on all 18) so Im just doing a few this time, but it does satisfy the desire to do a pull pretty cheaply!

Dang I want that Emperor costume but outside of his stuff I don't want anything on that banner. Bad timing right before fest too.

And yeah I feel like RoP is basically a pre fest trap at this point, maybe in smaller pools it might be okay (I plan to pull on FF1) but for the most part it's not worth it.

And yeah I agree BSBs, along with OSBs and 5* glints needs to be removed from grab bags like RoP, tickets and gift banners. They're too old to be useful anymore out side of a few niches.

3BDL and RW chain, Emperor without either HA (only enough black crystals to make either his or OKs, and opted for the latter since I might do III DK soon). OK and Emperor werent capping but it didnt really matter with Red ripping him to shreds.

Only three WOdin left: magic fire-weak, phys holy-weak, and bio.

This one was dicier since Papas ATB sync isnt quite as good as Reds and I had to use Vincent to imperil, which meant he was doing basically no dps for a while. This was again 3BDL (Papa and Terra syncs, Vincent AA1) and this time only Papa had his HA, though Papa also had his chase USB that I used mid-sync once he got the bars. I was again using RW chain since I have Vivis (like Tellah, with zero BDL...) so I didnt want to lens it yet. This time it ran out with like 10 or 15% left, Vincent+Mog died to doom, and I had to pray ability spam would carry the day (luckily it did!)

Yeah I think if Mog had been alive rather than Cait I probably could have survived a few more turns before he dead-ended P2, but Cait can't exactly heal the team up well from triggering last stand. I think I did screw up my chain timing at the beginning (I ended up using it with Cait, and Papa had to hold his first turn for a second or two since I didn't want to use up his IATB3 out of chain), so I think redoing it I could probably get him pretty close to dead within one chain and have a more comfortable win. I'm happy with a win at all though given how many corners I cut here!

(I also just barely avoided getting zan'd and dying to sap, with Mog using the second Odin summon to push him past 30 like a second after the countdown hit 1)

Login bonus has been upgraded; 30 mythril per 30 day cycle now (plus more motes etc than before). Also S1 and 2 lab boss nodes have been added, and even though it's not mentioned in the update we appear to have gotten the lens shop update

- 1/10 Rem USB3(?), off to a fine start with the daily draw.
- That login bonus upgrade is totally unexpected, but so amazing.
- Lens shop update is also nice, but it's probably smarter not to buy anything right now, with lots of free draws coming up.

Forgot to mention: those stupid portals are gone from lab now!

I got a dupe Edea AOSB from the daily.

It's cool they added record board tiles for all the old Labyrinth bosses, but I think I'm going to wait until the bonus missions next month so I don't have to do them all twice.

Augh looks like once again they're going to have the lab schedule be as stupid and obnxious as possible, with wind (no repeats) being two weeks and VII (three repeats) being three weeks.
