T0ffee 12/26/21 5:10:35 PM #1:	Woke up with an itchy throat on the 24th, and today I started having some mild coughing, mild chills, and slightly weak and feverish body. Didn't even feel that severe that I thought it would definitely be Covid but I still went out and bought a test kit to be sure. (While fully masked) Got the FlowFlex one at CVS and they were only allowing 1 kit at a time to be bought. Just finished the test and got a positive result. Now I have to make doubly sure so I scheduled for an actual test to be done tomorrow. Luckily my symptoms have all been pretty mild so I'm in no immediate danger. Still have my sense of taste and smell too. Masks barely even help contain the spread. luckily its not supposed to be bad at all. Most people have small common cold symptoms etc and thats it. but its twice as contagious so everyone is panicking when they get it and calling out sick. A positive home test in addition with you being symptomatic make a false positive result less than 1%. You probably don't need the confirmatory test. Said they'll call me when it's my turn. The Dr said that with the positive home test, the positive rapid test, and my symptoms, the result is pretty conclusive. I have covid. The only thing that remains is a sudden one or two coughs that happen almost randomly. I'm afraid that it might be a long-term side effect of covid. Hopefully it'll clear after a month.
