Don't think either of the Bayonetta games have particularly good stories.

Solid DMC style story that ties back to the first game in fun ways.

It's a fun turn-off-your-brain type story that still has some decent lore too.

I was super disappointed when rescuing Jeanne from Hell was only a small part of the game and then the rest was about Bayonetta's lame dad. Still had plenty of good moments, though.
