Probably, every girl around that age I knew was obsessed with sex and knew way too much about it for that age, contrast most boys only wanted to see boobs and knew very little about actual sex.

Yeah I'm kinda glad I grew up when the internet was still relatively in its infancy. I can only imagine what the easy access to all kinds of weird porn is doing to kid's brains. You know that no matter what you do as a parent, it's just so easy to access nowadays

My experience was VERY similar to yours. Only difference was that instead of that Dark Horse comics Grendel: War Child comic it was a Dark Horse comics Predator: The Bloody Sands of Time (a mini-series about the Predator visiting World War 2, came out when I was about 11 or 12 years old). There is a human female in this Predator mini-series who gets naked and shows her boobs and butt and it was realistically drawn. That was highly unexpected. Dark Horse comics use to shove nude women into their comics without warning back then. I loved it. LOL. As for magazines, whenever my parents weren't home and I was home alone I use to go on a scavenger hunt through closets and stuff. I found a late 80's nudie magazine (very high quality and very graphic. Great stuff). It looked like it was abandoned in the deep regions of the closet with a bunch of random non-nudie magazines so I just took it and stored it in a hiding spot in my room. LOL. I later found other magazines and even a VHS as I did random searches around the house when left home alone. LOL. I made sure to only take stuff that was obviously abandoned in some closet and looked like it hadn't been touched in years.

Anyway, a huge shout out to Dark Horse comics for keeping the nude women they had in their comics a secret from parents during the early 90's. LOL.

I find that interesting and a little counterintuitive. And while the overabundance and availability of porn potentially makes addiction more troublesome than other forms of addiction, there's also no real solution unlike substance-related addiction.

This was my exact experience as well in the early 2000s. Once I realized I could watch porn online it was crazy.

I remember in like 4th or 5th grade girls were already talking about doing naughty things so no this does not surprise me.

I looked up a few images when I was 12.

At 13, I started downloading a bunch of porn off Limewire. I thought I was covering my tracks, but my dad found the 'incomplete downloads' folder that I wasn't aware of, and it had some bad offenders in it. I tried to tell him that I deleted those 'as soon as I could tell what they were'!

My parents locked down the computer to require password access from them.

I usually figured out ways around this by turning the monitor off while still logged on, and accessing it early in the morning before anyone woke up.

The Wii was the BEST console when it came to porn between early 2009 to late 2012. The Wii's Opera browser was very compatible with a good amount of high quality porn streaming sites at the time and it was awesome when going into porn picture galleries at the time. Also, there was no way in hell to catch a virus or malware or anything like that on the Wii so you could go wild and go to any website with no worries of getting a virus / malware.

The cool part is that you could save all the important websites on to a hidden / private list that was stored on the Wii that could show preview images (making it really easy to see to click on so it made is extremely easy to click on a favorite you wanted to get to quickly). Also, if you managed to save pics from a PC in a library you could put them on an SD card and then put them on the Wii's photo channel to view. You could even edit them (the editing feature was severely limited but you could adjust the brightness, which was very helpful at times, and just for giggles you could even draw stuff using the doodle feature and even turn the pics into a demented XXX puzzle. LOL).
Also, the Wii was VERY easy to quickly shutdown / reset in the event someone was knocking at the door. LOL.
And the best part?
99.99% of parents had NO clue the Wii was capable of being the ultimate porn console. LMAO!!!

I'm of the opinion porn has no positive function but I refuse to change my behavior in spite of it. It's like junk food.
