And this is why this sort of thing can be expected to pass: Because people latch onto exaggerated and/or outright false propaganda that tells them to be afraid instead of actually figuring out what people are talking about.

I have yet to see any evidence that CRT is even a thing to be concerned about in schools. I'm pretty sure it's just a new boogeyman that republicans made up.

youre right public schools adhere to an approved curriculum

but Ive never heard of a school in the US that teaches students to feel guilty for their ethnicity, not towards white people anyways

i do remember how around 20 years ago there was a big debate around whether or not Spanish speaking children could attend public schools in the US. Now Im sure THAT ended up making a lot of kids feel actually guilty and unwanted by society.

It's not what the colleges are teaching that's doing that. It's kids finding out they were lied to growing up and learning that no, just because they worked hard and went to a good school doesn't mean they'll be able to get a good job and live a good life. CRT's are miserable. They're bulky, heavy, extremely unbalanced, usually very unpleasant to carry because the bottom has open plastic edges, and to top it all off, they're also fragile and were relatively expensive so if any of the aforementioned issues causes you to drop it, you're screwed. I'm glad flat panels have taken over, if for no other reason than that I don't have to move CRT's anymore. The improved picture quality is just a bonus.
