I held TQQQ, DPST, and LABU for 16 months and overall made a decent chunk. The LABU actually fell below my buy price after tripling a few months in. It turns out NAIL and SOXL would have been much better plays. Oh well.

Also, it was very stressful holding those for that long.

• 3 shares SCHD 3.9%
• 1 share VYM 1.8%
• 1 share VAW 3.1%
• 3 shares VTI 11.6%
• 1 share QQQ 6.2%
• 5 shares THCX 0.6%
• 4 sharesICLN 1.3%

• 5 shares LIT 6.6%

I have a bunch of OTC stocks I put a small amount in that are now basically worthless, but schwab charges a fee to sell them now so Im stuck with all this shit cluttering my app

The below being approx 55% of my portfolio I have lost $99.25. I am looking to make this 55% of my portfolio to be a long term bid and I feel like I'm failing in my choices so far.

SCHD, VYM and VAW are the only to ETFs I'm not losing money.

Makes me question the rest of my ETF choices as bad.

What is your 1 year return? You should be doing alright with VTI in there.

Id examine where ETFs overlap and cut my losses. Diversity preserves wealth, concentration builds wealth. Id reallocate more into VTI since it covers the US market.

Went the etf route about 2 months ago. Attempting to go a more safer route with etf's but still learning on what etf I need to have in my portfolio.

My 1 year return is about $200 above. (Factoring 100% of my portfolio).
The etfs alone though (approx 55% of my portfolio) I have lost about $100 since early November.

Thats a short timeframe to judge your investments, especially since November and December were pretty rough on most stocks. I wouldnt be too hard on yourself. But Id still add more into VTI

my $500 cleared in my new brokerage account, and popped in anotehr NVDA at 274.50. aaand i put in another hundo to put in order at $274 if it drops some more.

how do yall manage your losing positions? i've got a handful where i am down 40 to 70% and idk if i should just kick em out or hold onto them and pray for a miracle. it's an IRA, so selling at losses won't really help protect my gains
