UE probably, assuming you have the hearts. 5 star is more stats, UE gives her a stun on her first, which is more immediately useful in PVP than the stats.

Fairly standard stuff coming up (NY!Hiyori, Tower of Luna, CB), most notable is the triple normal drops that starts on 1/13 (which coincides with the January CB).

You only 'need' carriers on maps with high AA requirements, or heavy plane spam such as world 13. And there are ways around it anyways.

Don't feel too bad, I only recently cleared world 4 and could finally make a 3rd fleet. I don't really blame events so much as my obsession with completeness, namely the part where I'm trying to fill-in all of the "unknown" ship drops.

Speaking of a lack of completion, I only realized today that not all girls have a Recollection Lobby scene in Blue Archive, specifically it seems most (if not all) the *1 gals are lacking one.

A select few of 1* girls have reco lobby.

Yoshimi has one, but that's the only one I could remember.

My guess is that Gneisenau is taking out your flagship or Frontline before the time was up. That's happened to me a few times.

Got Ulrich in 30 draws, along with 2 other event ships.

In PriConne does the difficulty of a stage matter for farming or should I just go for the ones that use the least stamina?

It sort of depends. If you look what items a stage drops, the first two items have the highest rate, then the rest lower. So you usually want to go for whatever stage has the items you want in the first two drops.

I think it's like 33% for the first two, and then 20% for the others or something.

Yeah, I deleted Blue Archive again. I know it says 3 stars are supposed to be a 2.5% chance, but it feels waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lower than that. I think a few dozen more A's could express my frustration, but I don't want it to take up an entire line :<

That, in addition to how gems are so scarce, really is a buzzkill.

Admittedly I had a rather okay gacha for BA.

I've never had such bad luck with gachas as I have with BA. 32 10 pulls to get Kal'tsit just once in Arknights pales in comparison to BA, since at the very least in Arknights, I got several 6 stars along the way. In BA I would go like 30 pulls without getting a single non-guaranteed 3 star <_<

Because AK gacha is designed to increase in 6* chance as you pull (afaik that is how it works).

Genshin also is the same (e: they have even worse 5* rate), however they have increased chance after certain point and guarantee-if-failed-the-previous-attempt to back it up.

Meanwhile in BA, like GBF, you either hit the mark or not. Nothing to help you except 200 recruitment points for pick-up guarantee. Knowing how the gacha works allows one to tamper their expectation. Still sucks, but it is what it is.

Yeah, my luck was decent too going for Midori/Momoi and got me some other *3 I didn't have at the time. Just as well too, it was the first time I pulled since the tutorial.

Arknights only goes up after 50 pulls, and that's only if you didn't get any 6 stars.

But I've had much, MUCH better luck in literally every single other gacha I've played. I was only using Kal'tsit as an example because that was the next worst luck I've had, which was still leagues better than BA. Even at 1%, I would get 5 stars in FGO much more frequently.

What did you mean by "Knowing how the gacha works allows one to tamper their expectation." though? I don't quite understand, although I know how most gachas work. Like how some games have sparking, some have rising pity rates, some have a guarantee after X pulls, some don't have anything, etc.

Ultimately, RNG means that it will always be possible for you to get fucked over and is something you gotta accept when gambling. As that's what gacha is. Some definitely do it better with pity, slowly increasing rates etc, but even they won't always help you if you just get unlucky.

And you will get unlucky at some point.

Because then you won't feel as bad being cucked by the gacha because you would go, 'okay, that happens' whenever the gacha shits on you, and instead trying to make use of whatever you got, which I was absolutely prepared to do.

Looking back at it, I might have an even harder time in BA if not for the fact I pulled both Iori and Hina from that free beginning 10 pull without reroll (I genuinely hate reroll), who carried my team's asses pretty well.

My regret would be not trying pulling on Izuna banner. ;_;

I'm afraid I still don't quite understand. Like in BA, the gacha is simple: 2.5% rate for 3 stars with no pity. But despite having a higher rate than a lot of other games I've played, I have had by far the worst luck with pulls. Would I not feel as bad if I didn't know the rate or something?

Also this site censors weird stuff sometimes. I needed to say "non-Iron Blood" instead of just using IB for short, because...reasons?

Well, 2.5% is just that, 2.5%. It can absolutely fail you, just like how some people get lucky in Genshin with its 0.6% 5*. It is best to just shrug and move on if the gacha result is bad.

Like few hours ago I spent 30 more pulls on Aris' banner and got dud. Disappointed, but I also knew it just, like, can happen.

Yeah, I know that. Given the ridiculous amount of games I've played, it's to be expected that I've been let down countless times. Unfortunately for BA though, I can't really shrug it off since

• I keep getting those bad drops after literally thousands of pulls on both the JP and global versions
• Gems trickle in slowly
• The game crashes constantly

The thrill of the pull is one of the draws of gachas, and when you see a dull screen with no 3 stars time after time after time, it sort of kills the mood. It would've been nice if they had a more generous gacha system like FEH, PGR, Arknights, Mythic Heroes, Opera Omnia, Guardian Tales, Azur Lane, or GFL. But eh, they chose to do it that way, which is why I chose to quit.

This game is a shameless copy of Illusion Connect but this is a rare instance that I'm ok with it considering how shitty Superprism is. Some of the art is pretty good though but it's hard to say if it's actually worth playing.

Well I dunno how much hand Superprism had on the current iteration of Illusion Connect, but it's honestly a pretty decent game to play especially as a newcomer. It's like surprisingly generous, and you don't need many dupes until you start getting to the harder contents. The arts and the story were decent too, though I think IC was never criticized for those kinds of things

I know the launch was kinda notorious, but I dunno I liked IC quite a bit on the time I was playing it. Didn't feel as much motivation anymore tho

Got Yuzu in Blue Archive through the "pity" system. Wasn't really planning on getting her, but I figured I was close, so what the heck. Didn't pay anything more.

PriConne (at least in global, don't know about JP) has a bad habit of "announcing" the CB rewards but not actually delivering them to everyone until a couple of weeks later when the next CB is about to start. I think they take the extra time to double-check for cheaters and readjust the rankings before finally delivering the rewards. It sucks, but we always get them eventually. Just gotta be patient.

I was shitting on FGO JP's new pity system, and it turns out I needed to spend that amount just to get one Yang in NA. I got one more copy not long after, but shit.

NP3 Dantes from the GSSR. Not useless, but a boring result regardless.

And I went the full 200 pulls in PriFes and got zero new rainbows. At least I got my Little Lyrical trio.

Yeesh. Great start to the new year.

I still have to brace for Yunjin + 50/50 in Genshin.

Otherwise, I can grudgingly accept this as a low point of luck if it means my luck will bounce back by summer. Because I absolutely need that luck for summer Abby.
