Reached 6-1 in BA and I just remembered I only have 3 special students.

I cave in and put a 10 pull on Haruna's pick up recruitment hoping for special student to fill a void, got two instead.

Hold up... So when I was playing Mythic Heroes, there was a part when Persephone was begging Zeus not to kill Hades, and she said something like "Father, please don't kill my husband". But then earlier in the game I remember them saying that Zeus and Hades were brothers. Since my Greek mythology is rusty, I decided to look that up. And yups, sweet home Alabama. Since that means that Persephone married her uncle :<

lol and just to double check, I started to Google "did Persephone" and the second auto fill result was "marry her uncle" XD

Since the last topic, I dropped D4DJ and picked up Colorful Stage, but the other three games I'm playing (Revue Starlight, Princess Connect, Tenkafuma) haven't changed at all. I'm really looking forward to Tenkafuma's upcoming Christmas event.

Playing FGO. Christmas event is upon us. Currently simping for Melusine.

I got all the correct bounty missions in PGR for this week on the first day with 4 refreshes to spare. That doesn't happen very often!

I got only 2/3 :<

Slideshow video of key features coming to PGR in future patches. SInce it's a slideshow video with just background music, you can keep it paused and thumb through it with the 5-second and 10-second skip keys.

Timestamps and summaries (actual arrival of these features could be bumped up a little):

-Special weapon for both Kamui frames, Christmas-themed. Boosts attack and movement speed (00:30 in -- Kowloong Metropolis patch)

-Memory stat special overclocking; can boost resonated 6* memories beyond their normal stat thresholds with a flat % buff but takes new farmable items (01:00 in -- Kowloong Metropolis patch)
(can reroll resonance skills without losing the buffs)

-Lantern Reunion event 5* memory; QTE-slaves can provide a 7% ATK and move speed buffs with a lantern on the field (01:30 in -- Chinese New Year event)

-Guilds; Create or join a guild and participate in guild battles; members can get compositor shards and special memory overclock materials (02:00 in -- Grand Blue patch)
(War Zone spawn RNG is eliminated)

-EX Phantom Pain Cage; better reward structure and more bosses to fight (02:30 in; compares boss pools at 03:00 in -- Firn Night patch)
(Pain Cage also gets a "restart" button added)

-QoL change: Separation of leader skill from who is designated as the leader of the team (03:20 in -- Lost Chapter patch)
(War Zone gets a "restart" button)

-6* weapon resonance major revision; adds more resonance skills, improves some skills, and gives you the ability to change what skills the character uses before battle (03:50 in -- Fake Ascension patch)

-Red USB item for memory resonance; can skip RNG and choose the resonance skill you want; farmable from War Zone! (04:20 in -- Fake Ascension patch)

-Pets; provides battlefield buffs; some are free, some farmable, some gacha-only (04:51 in -- Echo Aria Patch)

-Norman Restoration War (silly name, I know); new game mode that provides a challenge alongside Babel Tower/Project Babel, similar to Stronghold and Border Pact modes; harder than Babel but provides better rewards, especially if you clear it within the first few days of the season (05:26 in -- Echo Aria patch)

examples of rewards in Norman Restoration War are weapon resonance USBs, black cards, pet shards, pet EXP items, and special memory overclock materials

And Summoners Duel in FEH continues to be the worst thing I have ever dealt with in a mobile game. Like, this is the kind of thing that would get something else purged from my phone and *1 review-bombed.

Figured I'm going to have a lot of extra time on my hands this winter season so I re-downloaded FE Heroes. I quit in protest shortly after their subscriptions were implemented. There's a lot to take in and remember. And I know I missed some OP heroes recently but I'm fine with that.

How does PvP rewards in Blue Archive works again? Are you only getting the coins if you go up in rank (win)?

How do I unlock Fate Simulation for August von Perseval in Azur Lane? Like with Neptune and Mainz that thing took the place of where you normally put blueprints to increase their development level, but now that she's level 30, it's just maxed out with no other option :<

The difference between Normal and Hard Chesed is pretty noticable. Don't think my teams are enough for Hard.

Fate Simulation is something that is generally unlocked for PR ships when the next wave is released. Fate Sims are more or less buffs to keep up with power creep. Since August is a PR4 ship, and PR4 is the most recent wave, there is no Fate Sim for PR4 ships, and won't be until PR5 releases.

The exceptions to this are the DRs. Currently only Azuma has a Fate Sim out of the DR ships, likely because Agir released, though Azuma's Fate Sim was released several months after PR4 IIRC. Friedrich and Drake have not received Fate Sims yet.

Princess Gala with NY.Yui and Christina, and the announcement for the upcoming NY event are the main items. New UE releases on the 22nd, but that was announced in-game a little bit ago. The current daily free 10-pulls will continue past the Gala banner by 1 day, so I think we should get 40 free pulls on the Gala, assuming you save your free pull on 12/20.

Is there anyway to raise the probability of getting them like doing the cube ones or the ones that take longer to complete, or am I just at the mercy of the very cruel RNGesus :(

tbf, her masteries aren't the most super important and she's fantastic without. Getting to 3 does boost the healing rate up even more so it's not a bad one to have at least.

Fair enough. I only bother to master those who actually get a decent boost, so loads not done. And plenty still not fully done as keep forgetting to bother making all the resources needed.

Funniest part is that I didn't even need to use recruitment points for Midori, she showed up all on her own. (Still pulled until I had 200 points anyway for additional shards.)

But yeah, it says a lot that I actually want Manuela because normally I'm pretty "meh" about characters from Three Houses and I typically don't pull for them.

Aside from her the only other ones I've thrown orbs at were Seiros, Hapi, Catherine, and Shamir. I'm starting to think I just have no real fondness for the actual students from that game (which would make me a terrible professor when/if I got to play it).

Maybe it's the academy uniform, or how I've been told that most of the students don't really hit their stride until after the supposed time-skip.

Basically, it starts the day after Nona Ouroboros ends. The new Lucia banner will go live on the morning of the 23rd or the 24th.

Speaking of which, you can try her out with that "The Lost" button you see there. It sets up the next event with a few story bits but the main thing is that you can try out the new Construct frame. The recommended way to play her is: do two 3-pings to fill the red sword gauge on the bottom, build up some orbs, press the ult button to switch to ice mode (all orbs will be auto-sorted to make 3-pings), quickly spam 3-ping skills until you run out, and finally activate her ultimate before the red gauge on the bottom runs out. RInse and repeat for tons of damage.

Keep in mind that this preview version likely has no memories equipped, so picture how much more damage she can do with that...

I wonder if I should pull for her. Was there a list of the order that the banners are being released in?

Also I need to up my smartitude regarding the dorm. Everyday I just send them to do chores, pat, make 3 items, and put said items in a dorm. I would like to make my dorms be even slightly aesthetically pleasing but I'm too smartless :<

Also finally I can rid myself of that annoying yellow dot notif on top of the extra chapters in AS >.>. It was a bug I think cuz they probably didn't add the story in time. Happens when you beat the latest ch, which btw was fantastic. I think the way it ended was semi-paralleling the intro to the story but now with way more friends (or waifs)

Meanwhile the extra story is a loli Carleen and Beth during their school days in Northland O_o. There already was a live2d sprite of little Carleen but she seemed a bit diff from the extra ch art. I guess I have to play and see if those animals actually made a 3rd live2d for Carleen, not counting costumes.

But hooray my new laptop came in and it's so much better than my super old one that was literally falling apart. I can finally use Bluestacks without games taking like 20 seconds to load every time I click somewhere lol. So now I can do grindy auto games like Arknights and Azur Lane while I play other games on my phone :3

It's highly advisable that you do pull for her. She's the only ice element attacker in the game, even on the CN server, and she's top tier in damage output (for both single target and AoE).

Without the future amplifier characters, this is the community consensus on the strength of the elements (element tier list - strongest to weakest):
Ice > Lightning > Darkness > Fire

For dorm dailies, I collect the event bubbles with the trick to speed it up, pat two chibis three times each if there aren't any pat bubbles or the need to top up morale, assign chores, make three items, recycle those three items, pick up my daily rewards, and at least buy the coating sketch special offer for x3 Dorm Coins. I think I have enough permits for the next floor of dorms, so I stick with buying sketches when I have a ton of dorm coins. I get affection items from the dorm dailies, so I don't bother with those. I'll worry about fixing up my dorms later when I have more furniture options. lol

Congrats on the new laptop and welcome to the emulator club! Don't forget that there are more emulators out there than just Bluestacks. There's also Nox (the one I use), LDPlayer, Mumu, and Memu, to name the popular ones. Try a few and see what you prefer.

Edit: a couple of undocumented changes for the Kowloong Metropolis event patch.

I would like to share some information my friend Dread and a couple other reliable sources looked into. They were not documented in the patch notes so these despite KM and GB events on the sheet being done for a while, they are not there. I've added these two changes in the spreadsheet and labelled them as undocumented. I am not confirming anything for global, but I think it's quite likely we'll receive them as well.

-Warzone spawn formations are no longer hot garbage. Waves are now always clumped together. This one is actually in the patch notes for Grand Blue, but I doubt anyone's going to miss the current line or circle spawns. My guess is that it was changed in KM but patch writers forgot about it and snuck it in GB. You can also reference the above video to see what the new formations look like.

It's been a while since we last got one. This one is from the half-year anniversary video that was released today. SInce it has one really annoying part in it in particular, and the Pulao avatar talks like a Pokemon ("nyanyanya"), I'll spare you the video link and just type out what was in it. -Kowloong Metropolis trailer (with one content creator I've never heard of giving commentary in the most forced and awkward way possible; that part with him was really cringy and annoying). I'm sure the trailer by itself will be uploaded soon (sans commentary), so I'll share that when it's ready.

-Rexlant gives a basic crash course on how Lucia Plume works. He said on his community page that a more comprehensive guide will go up soon, so I'll share that too when it's ready since Rex's guides are actually good.

-A sneak peak of future content and features for the next six months:

Lel I mean first day but I used 2 teams and got 51st place. Ughh I still haven't gotten top 100 though, but Elec boss week is by far my best chance for a top 100.

Ok I got all the way up to rank 13, but my team 3 had a lot of room for improvement. Funny to see such a low number there after a month of barely getting into top 1000

Also, I managed to get some good and bad luck pulling for Revived Witches current limited unit. Got a UR early on... as Ella, and thankfully not too long until Cersivey. Her chaos skill looks potentially fantastic with its overall boost to damage it gives.
