He talks about how he gets Thai food every few weeks and that he loves food from Taiwan. I tell him every time that Thai food is from Thailand, not Taiwan, and he literally can not accept it. I could understand the confusion they call it Thai food, but if you go by how it sounds Taiwan and Thailand both are pronounced the same way to start. I have only ever had a Sichuan Hotpot and oh my god it was amazing. Thai restaurants are so prevalent in the US because the nation of Thailand actually helps people financially that want to open a Thai restaurant in the US.
