Getting hard to find decent ones. They just put out garb and fix what they feel like fixing later these days. I dont remember any seriously bad glitches in games back in the day.

There's a glitch in Fellowship of the Ring for GBA that soft locks the entire game when trying to leave the Mines of Moria. You don't have to do anything to activate it. Walking through the exit door is enough.

You can bypass it by pausing the game just as you enter the door (then un-pausing) but I literally had to call customer support to find that answer after returning the game twice and replaying it three times.

That sounds like a pretty niche game, but sure. I was talking more about super-popular titles on SNES, N64, PlayStation etc., but I didnt specify that.
