Heck, even having your tubes tied isn't 100% effective. Even a vasectomy! Can result in pregnancy though it's incredibly rare it can happen.

What "credible" accusations? Her own friends testified they had no idea what she was talking about. Not to mention it was 30 years ago, there is nothing to investigate. It is long past the statute of limitations in addition to being a he said/she said case, its impossible to prove.

No one is getting pregnant against their will through consensual sex. You can reduce the risk of pregnancy very significantly through various birth control methods. The odds of pregnancy happening are very low with birth control.

This is stupid. As a male, if I get a woman pregnant, then I legally have no say in what she does with the pregnancy. I then have no say over paying child support if she keeps the baby and I don't necessarily get rights to the child.

Only way for me to combat this is through birth control and selective abstinence.

Now I still don't agree with this law and think women should get to choose. People are still being hella dramatic about this though and all the stupid Handmaid's Tale memes about this are just straight garbage.

Oh and guess what? 45% of pro lifers are women.

It's not dramatic. If abortion is banned, then women have basically no human rights. And some women believing they are nothing more than tools to be used by superior men doesn't change that.

It is correct that men have no say. Only one parent can carry a child, but two parents need to support a living one.

Yes there is all sorts of hypocrisy in progressive feminists not acknowledging the reality that 45% of all pro lifers are women.

The really funny thing is that among a myriad of political issues, abortion rights actually has the smallest gap between the opinions of men and the opinions of women. If you ask about gun control or vaccine mandates then you will see a larger gap between men and women.

This notion people try to push like "abortion rights are a fundamental right for all women" simply is not at all believed by almost half of all women.

That is just reality.

So yeah you're right. There should be absolutely no attempt to inform people of the reality of their actions and the possible consequences. No safe sex education should ever point out that although birth control methods are very good and will decrease the possibility of pregnancy dramatically that abstinence is technically the only 100% method to prevent pregnancy.

So because contraception fails we're now fucked and have to raise an unwanted child we might not be financial or mentally able to support?

Or we get raped and, like many rape victims, correctly believe we will receive minimal to no support so are unlikely to be able to meet the "acceptable criteria" we're once again fucked.

A petty partner purposely gets us pregnant against our will means we're fucked?

Now, I'm not American, but even I can see that this law universally fucks women hard. America offers utterly piss poor access to contraceptives, poor education about it and poor access to the morning after pill.

And yes, as a man you get no say in what a woman decides to do with her own body. Don't like it? Develop a way for men to carry a child to birth or shut the fuck up. This isn't a decision that impacts you. A child carries much more implication than just "give birth" and can cause massive changes to the woman in question - along with various other physical and mental impacts, along with "just give it up" all but ensuring the child has a fucking awful life given how shit the adoption process is in the west.

Being against full and easy access abortion rights is a disgrace and will lead to more restrictions against not only women, but men. We all suffer from it.
