Not really a fan of either song in Match 1. I like Ink Long Dry worse than the first listen last round.
A tough choice that could maybe go the other way on a different day.
Hardest match, but at the end of the day I have too much nostalgia and familiarity with Rose of May.
I'm not sure how much I actually like Antipyretic, but I like it more than Eyes on Me

The VIII tracks are my easy 1/2 today. I like Ink a lot and would vote it over the other two matches, it got a rough 4 pack. Emotion v Speed was difficult (don't love either), but I like Speed a bit more this round.

oh my god i thought i voted already why do i have perfect attendance ...

i do not like voting against ink long dry, but fisherman's has been my favourite uematsu track for like over ten years.

my threshold for cheese isn't perfect today.

if anything about me is consistent it is my love for beatrix.

im still bitter about valkyrie losing, but a valkyrie/antipyretic match would probably have killed me. eyes on me is great but i feel like my enjoyment of "oscar bait" final fantasy love ballads tends to depend on my mood.

Match 1 is rough for me - from the "4-pack" that involves this round's contestants and R1 losers, Servants is really the only one I enjoy the most. But I guess I can go with the jazz tone that Ink Long Dry is going for, just this once.

Easy pick.

Archylte is probably my least favorite arrangement of The Promise so far, as much as I like the melody. As for FFIX, I've not been so crazy about it overall but Roses of May is definitely working for me today.

I don't mind ballads, but Eyes on Me isn't doing much for me. I like the general sound of Antipyretic more, but I wish there was more to its melody.

Good news, today won't have a match end 19-18 for once!
