Everybody in my immediate family as well as their families have gotten it at some point - except me.

Not a single person I'm remotely close to has gotten it. None of my friends or family have come down with it. I know acquaintances who have had it but that's about it

I personally know several, I even know someone that is still dealing with the aftermath. That person is in the group of which the deniers say: "such young people do not get severe effects". Yes they can.

Ironically enough, of the people that I know that have gotten covid, it's been mostly people who are super careful and serious about masking and following whatever covid restrictions are in place

No to getting it myself; Yes to someone I do know. In fact, someone I knew and deeply cared about (in that way) died from it.

I've known about 7 or 8 people who have gotten it, about half of them died from it.

Yes and its ok if you dont know anyone that has. If I hear anyone claim that though like they are alluding to it not be real I call them the fuck out and put them in their place and it has been satisfying as fuck every single time.

Sometimes you just have to tell those people to shut the fuck up.

My wife's cousin got it from her job at the hospital, the rest of her family dodged it somehow
So far my fam is all clear

My uncle died of it. It was sad, he was a great guy.

I caught it last December. Not totally sure which of us brought it home, dad was sick and coughing before I caught it, and so was my cousin from his workplace. I work with the public more than they do and was the first to test positive(only because I was the first to be tested). So yeah, me, my parents, and my cousin.

3 people at my workplace about 4-5 months ago. 2 of them at first, the two who faked it last year for extra time off. They also infected another worker before they let anyone know they had it. Luckily it was just the 3 of them.

that sucks man I hope the damage recovers eventually. Lung healing can take a long time and be a real struggle. Stay strong

Yep; just got over it about a week ago.

I've personally had it three times.
I don't think I know anyone that hasn't gotten it at least once. Pretty much my entire family and everyone I work with. Only one person had any serious complications but she was extremely obese.
One of my dumbass friends caught it during bike week (fully vacc'ed) and gave it to his elderly grandfather. He pulled through thankfully.

Yes Ive had several in my family have it. My 74yr old uncle, my 91yr old great uncle, my 72yr old uncle, a 2nd cousin thats in there 40s or late 30s. My ex mightve had it in early 2020 but every test was negative, but testing for it just came out. If she did then I likely did too but I had almost non existent symptoms. Also it killed my exs great aunt but I never met her. Oh and my exs sister had it twice. No one I know though directly has died from it, but have had two deaths in the family during the pandemic but not due to Covid

Same here, sorry to hear that. My twin uncles got it at the same time but only one survived

A good chunk of my family (mostly the older generation) got it before the vaccine. My great uncle is the only one that had any complications after and needed an oxygen tank for a bit but he's good now.

I've known multiple people who have had it, including several who died from it.

I knew one person personally since we worked together from time to time. She was diagnosed on a Friday; died on a Sunday since she didn't believe in getting a Covid shot and had a couple of underlying conditions such as diabetes. This wonderful, energetic, full of life woman left behind two grandkids that she'd adopted six months earlier, which was tragic since she'd looked forward to raising them in a somewhat stable environment (their mother was having problems with drugs or some such thing).
