He gained notoriety for his flat earther and anti-mask movement who died in his home in New Westminster, British Columbia after REFUSING to go to a hospital claiming he will fight off the virus and WIN. He was in the news for the past 2 years for spreading COVID-19 falsehoods, operating his yoga studio in contradiction of public health orders In a rambling video just a couple days ago he said he was taking Ivermectin after watching Joe Rogan taking the horse drug and just after stating covid-19 was FAKE. He said "that horse parasite remover? So i did take that and i feel 40-50% better. But i am a little bit down right now"... Canadian health authorities has warned that Ivermectin is used on horses as a dewormer to remove parasites, not viruses An earlier video showed him coughing repeatedly and complaining about being sick but denying it was covid He said "I'm jacked up on extra strength advil, tylenol, hydorchoroquine for the last 2 days, that's the only way i can function".. His conspiracy theories grew with other covid deniers in the country. He was charged after returning to BC from the United States in 2020 after going to a flat earth conference and bragged about it to a crowd at a Vancouver Art Gallery. He was arrested last year and was to appear in court again for his crime but was postponed when he got sick The City of Deltasuspended his business license after he made false claims that hot yoga kills coronavirus..and as it turns out despite all of his doped up drugs he took, he could not fend off COVID. It is not clear if he spread the virus while being at home after refusing a hospital. The whole "I don't want to be a statistic" thing seems exceptionally stupid to me. Everyone is a statistic. Literally everything everyone does qualifies them for some statistic or other. His decision to take Ivermectin added him to the statistic of Ivermectin sales. His decision to refuse hospitalization added him to the statistic of people refusing medical care. I understand that what these idiots are actually saying is "I don't want to participate in making this disease seem more dangerous than I want to believe it is," but the wording used is just so absurdly disjointed from the reality that I don't know how anyone can possibly thing it's a meaningful thing to say. --- This is my signature. Had he survived, he would have avoided being counted as a hospitalized case, which I'm guessing is what he was trying to do.
