I've been farming EoSF since the domain came out. I dunno how much resin that is, but I have some decent pieces. I have Beidou and Raiden with 4 pieces, plus a bunch of flowers and feathers to the side, but I dunno how much of it is good. Would still like to fully equip a few more characters, especially Xingqiu. Did a session about a week ago where I converted hundreds of artifacts to Noblesse since I had more junk than I did stuff worth rolling on.

I farm domains 6 days of the week since 1 day all my resin is used on Bosses and I still have shit for artifacts worth anything. This is after ages too. Artifact pity system when

I'm trying to not be greedy and just settle for artifacts with two decent stats. But my crit ratios are making me very unhappy. I now understand why people buy the battle pass - dealing with crit on artifacts is extremely obnoxious. I'm also forced to use some extremely cursed artifacts currently, like look at this shit



That said, I did my first 9+ Abyss attempt last night and was able to 9* floor 9 and 8* floor 10, though 11 was a wall I didn't want to deal with. So I'm feeling a little better about it. I could have gotten the last star on 10 but I didn't know how to deal with the Abyss Lectors and ran out of steam, and didn't feel like resetting for another 30+ minutes for 50 primos. So I'm feeling a little better about it.

Saw Critical Value mentioned on Tenhas vid and its made me want to check to see how many of my artifact pieces pass as usable. 20 CV is a usable piece, 40 CV is great.

Basically, (CRx2)+CD=CV

Example: 10.9% Crit Rate, 14.8% Crit Dmg = 36.6 CV

This is for endgame/AR55+.

I'm not a huge fan of using CV to evaluate pieces because it implies that nothing but crit stats matter, which is hardly true, but they're certainly something to aspire toward most of the time.

To HDT, I certainly wouldn't be overly aggressive in selecting pieces when you are trying to gear a whole account, but at the same time, there's garbage and then there's garbage. Anything with three "bad" stats on it will universally be garbage. Even artifacts with two HP/Def stats typically end up with the majority in HP/Def. There is no way the selection process is true random. I have one piece that rolled into pure crit damage every time. I've had countless pieces that roll into the single Def or HP line on an artifact every time on more occasions than I count on both hands and feet. As a result, I cut my losses on a piece very quickly. The only time I'd let an artifact get to 25% def is because I wanted to see if it'd go 100% for the lols or because it's going on a def-based character. (And have you noticed how many people are complaining that they can't get defense on the new set when we actually freaking want it?)

Oh boy I love getting DEF % main stats for these healing artifacts I want to give to Qiqi :(

Trust me, I don't have any better options than that thing. All my other Hydro cups are even worse. Most of my Heart of Depth artifacts are also trash, I need the set bonus, and farming more of that domain is low priority. I only took it to 20 because I was stuck with it and Tartaglia is truly desperate for crit rate and damage. At 16 the rolls must have been 2 DEF/1 ER/1 CR and the final def roll was just a fuck you.

I dislike the wolves as well. Even the ones in the domain with the new artifact sets take forever to die with an electro and hydro user supposedly helping out. Eula burst at least makes a ton of them die fast. Her burst killed the event boss for me too when it had over half its HP left. Eula go brrrrr

Trying to ignore the summon itch even though no new characters I want are coming for quite a while.

Floor 12 is a pain, and I tried using my heavy hitters, still failed. I barely missed it with the first team I used so maybe its just luck cause these bastards jump around a lot.

Unique in what way? Story-wise, probably, unless Aloy or Traveler counts. There are a number of characters who compete, though. Mechanically, she attacks differently from other casters, but the other catalysts aren't perfectly homogenized, either. Overall, if isn't her, it's Childe, who's from Snezhnaya, is a villain, and who is a bow user that fights with melee attacks. Childe is at least a human and an adult, though.

swordz - just more grist for the mill. Nothing new. I'm wondering if there's a world where the defense artifacts from that set are remotely usable, but right now that would mean Noelle, who is one of the worst Clam candidates among the healers. Game definitely has had a habit of throwing good offensive stats with crit on Clam pieces, though.

I just want some usable artifacts. I mean not all of them were super bad, but enough were. The one feather for Qiqi turned out ok. Think it got 2 ATK% increases, 1 Crit & 1 ER. The 4th stat it got at level 4 was flat DEF I think. DEF is just way way way way way way too common

I've heard other player-initiated fixes to the artifact system, but mine is to eliminate flat DEF. You'll still endure enough RNG bullshit for it to not advance players so quickly they run out of things to do with the game, but stripping away one layer -- the absolute worst and most useless layer -- would go a long way toward making it feel better.

Personal best 31* abyss cycle, with 12-2 being the worst part.

Also finished the event. I loved the Amber/Eula stuff, Bennett was pitiable, and more mysterious Albedo stuff. After all the doppelganger talk, I don't trust Joserf.

the last 10-pull that hit pity. Was bummed that it resulted in Freedom Sworn, but the next flip was Broken Pines, then a couple flips later I got another. Now I don't know if I refine it or give one each Razor and Eula (thinking the latter)

Could do something like

Noelle/Hu Tao/Fischl/Bennett
Ganyu/Venti/XQ/Diona

But there are so many variables that will influence the outcome like artifacts/talents/weapons/etc.

Im starting to hit a wall with this new artifact domain. I wanted to update my Hydro healers with the Ocean-Hued set but now Im good with just Kokomi, sorry barbara. Qiqi is meh, so not gonna mess with her.

Ive only gotten one Husk Def Sands, which isnt good and no Geo cups I hate these damn dogs.
