I hope that doesn't mean doing the character side quests, too. I've cleared the archon quest up through the Signora fight.

It's frustrating that the events require you to be so far into the game sometimes, though. My alt hasn't been able to do anything since I started.

They do, I was just checking on that yesterday. Depending on where you are it maybe isn't too bad? The first event starts on the 15th and goes to the 25th so there's a window of almost two weeks. The other one starts the 21st. Hopefully there's not a daily bonus or something, otherwise it seems doable.

I just completed Chapter 2 Act 2 last night. It was honestly very short, though I still have all of Act 3 to go. Rushing past exploration to get through the story doesn't feel too bad because the middle two islands have some pretty obnoxious obstacles to deal with anyways, so I have no issue coming back later.

On a related note, I was somewhat prepared for him because I saw Garou's design posted in here but it still feels like it clashes with his role in the story lol.

According to the Wiki you have to clear the whole Act. Does it gate you off and make you do character quests again at some point?

I am at having to do Yoimiyas quest to unlock the next story quest. Ive basically got nearly all of Inazuma to get through

Yeah, Yoimiya and Ayaka's character quests were kind of slogs to get through and made me put the story on hold for a week or two. The actual Act 2 goes very fast and doesn't require much exploration of the new islands. But Act 3 sounds significantly bigger.

Well I managed to have enough time to do Yoimiya at least. Will be using whatever time I have tomorrow to plow through Inazuma since I dont want to miss out on the rewards.

Also forgot to mention I won the Welkin Blessing from the one Anniversary event I forget the name of so that was pretty nice! Sitting on 48 Fates right and nothing in sight I really want yet

So Ive got the update downloading, but it says Im at 23.30GB/22.13 for it and just says calculating time remainingnever had this happen before

More importantly, got Childe with 7200 gems to spare! 56 pulls on his banner + 20 banked, so right at soft pity. Also got C1s of Ninggaung and Chongyun so I'm done with this banner.

Uhh this Maguu Kenki at Fort Mumei is glitched on me. Whenever he gets to low health he just runs away no matter how close I am and it starts the fight all over again at full health

Oh wow the Inazuma Bounties are so much better. You just find the boss and kill it instead of having to hunt down shit before you can fight it

Yessss I found that out last week. I think the enemies might be harder to compensate but that doesn't matter because no bounty is harder than the Ruin Hunter that glitches out and keeps flying up into the air spamming missiles after I've already wasted 5 minutes running around the map.

Finally hit my first pity 5* on the standard banner and it ended up being my first 5* weapon - Skyward Atlas. Seems like a pretty straightforward DPS catalyst which unfortunately I don't currently have a use for. I guess if I ever decide to build up Ningguang or Yanfei they can pop off with it.

Aww this damn corrosion area or whatever is gonna take several real days to finish apparently. Oh well back to Chapter 2 Act 3 of the Inazuma plot. Shouldve been my main focus anyways, but I wanted to clear all the lightning and shit out too

I just got to Watatsumi Island and wow. This area is basically immediately breathtaking

Watatsumi looks nice but it's pretty easily my least favorite Inazuma island. There's just nothing interesting in it. The most notable feature is currently unimplemented.

I think so far my least favorite is Tatarasuna just due to the time it takes to get rid of all the goddamn barriers and maybe eventually get rid of the HP drain? Not sure if the latter leaves the area. Granted had I started it a while ago Id have already gotten it all cleared. Inazuma as a whole is just amazing looking.

Got 2 Acquaint Fate from leveling up the tree and I finally got my first Bennett!

Just get a second one from shop or something and you'll be set, then.

Does he need at least C1 to be useful? Other than the rare times hes in the trial section Ive never really played around with him. I failed to beat floor 11 of Abyss again too. My Noelle used her shield, but I guess her healing didnt trigger on the third fight or something and I died.

C1 removes the HP requirement for his burst to buff your attack, and his attack buff is what makes him meta. If you only need him to heal, he does that fine at C0

He's usable at C0. I would try him, get used to him, and decide how much you like him before making a big deal out of C1.

But if you do end up using him routinely, then yes, C1 is a big deal.

Woo I beat the Inazuma story and am caught up on the music event. Now I can focus on the unknown amount of sidequests and exploring :D

It's a real shame that you feel obligated to do it in that order. And if you didn't, the game certainly pushes you that way. Alt account hit AR35 today, and I've only touched the absolute northern-most parts of Liyue, aside from literal necessity stuff like killing the pyro vine.

Well if I had started all this a lot sooner I wouldve been able to explore without rushing the story, but it never felt like a hassle and I wanted to see where all the Inazuma stuff was headed. Took some turns I did not expect

Also finally caught up today. Some odd stuff with the pacing but a lot of cool lore going on.

Feels good to not have to worry about being behind for a while!

While farming VV artifacts for Sucrose I was beginning to suspect that EM artifacts might be rarer considering how few I've gotten over the entire course of the game. Though I was mostly chalking it up to bad luck. Then I saw this chart on Reddit...

Up until they buffed EM, nobody would have wanted it as a main stat on anything. Now, obviously, we wish it would be on the majority of VV pieces, but go back a few months and it was almost worse than getting a DEF % piece, because at least the DEF piece could be an off-set for Noelle.

Still 10% on sands, which is okay if you aren't doing an EM-or-nothing build. Unfortunately due to the way transformative reactions scale, Sucrose wants EM-or-nothing. So yeah, I'd look for strong EM substats, IG. And maybe Anemo on goblet.

That graphic is nicely designed, but it's massively superfluous. Why not just say flat stats have a weight of 6, crit has a weight of 3, and everything else has a weight of 4? Or just give a single breakdown that ignores removing the main stat. The percent layouts are practically identical across the board.

So are relay stones supposed to just disappear? I cant find any near this one Im fairly sure I havent solved, but theres no relay stones to use for it anywhere >_>

They disappear if you've already solved it, anyway.

If you're not sure, you could try electroing yourself and see if you can connect to anything. It won't link up if you already solved it.

Im fairly sure I never solved this aerial one near the Grand Narukami Shrine, but there arent any nearby. I didnt even understand how to do them til today since I somehow never noticed after picking them up you could place them again

Oh, that one's hard. There are relays, but they might be in midair or something, I forget the exact details. I know you have to put them in midair to solve it, at least, which is pretty finnicky.
