Yeah, that was BS when I first got to the third island and there weren't many sources of naku weed. There's a decent number of them on Seirai (sp) Island, though.

Continuing on my farming to get "good enough" artifacts on my characters. Got a decent Severed Fate set for Raiden although I've run into a snag where I apparently have zero 5* ATK sands. Like...at all. Just never got a single one from anywhere so far. So I wanted to share what I've got for her:



Raiden has had this equipped since I got her and it's the first 5* artifact I maxed out. It's also the dumbest one I have! She's getting too much ER and is going to have to switch this out eventually but this is like...all of her crit damage. Can't decide if this is good or terrible luck lol

Xiangling (Crescent Pike at the moment)
Rosaria (same as Xiangling)
Hu Tao (Dragons Bane at the moment)

Well the artifact bonus caps at 300 and I'm at around 275. Before the AR50 ascensions. And her attack is like 1400. I don't think that's good?

Everything I saw when building Raiden said that The Catch is even better on Xiangling, but XL has better backup options than Raiden.

Well there's barely any that aren't limited. I was wondering about why I had so few when I was starting out and it's literally just Xiangling and Rosaria (who I don't own). Though Thoma is coming soon.

That is true, but still weird how few there are. Thoma is one Ill have to get on a rerun because I already have Hu Tao and dont really care about Cs on a 5* as a F2P since its just unrealistic.

I wish Xinyan was better. Now that shes finally getting some screen time shes pretty great. Her voice is still off to me, but she seems so sweet and theres more to her than just music. Also Shiki Taishoucan this guy be a new companion who can follow you around. Make it happen Mihoyo

Xiangling. Crescent Pike is fine at earlier levels, but it's not very good for late game since it's a physical weapon and XL thrives on her burst. Alternatively, give Hu Tao's Dragon's Bane to her. But ditch the pike imo.

Damn, that's a lot. I mean, it's not explicitly a bad thing if you have the other stats to support it, but that better be with Engulfing Lightning.

Xiangling was the only spear user at launch, until Zhongli.

lol no, that's the whole problem. She has The Catch. I squeezed out another ~200 ATK on this current set and can maybe get some more with substat upgrade rng but I can't drop 50 ER without losing almost all her crit damage. Plus more farming, and I just have other resin/mora priorities.

It's fine though, it at least does something for her damage and her burst recharge goes brrrrr. And it's not like I'm planning on beating Abyss anytime soon. Mostly just thought it was funny.

I just got a 4* claymore I didnt even know existed. Its called The Bell, but when I looked it up everyone says its trash :(

The Bell is an HP% weapon that provides a shield. It helps keep you alive, but doesn't help you kill things faster.

Oh I've got that one too. I've gotten two 4* claymores from wishes: that and Rainslasher, which also seems fairly useless.

Rainslasher has some uses at least. I hear its good for Sayu

Finally leveled Dragons Bane to 90 for my Xiangling. Shes sitting at 1500 atk, 332 EM, 153/36 crit, 130% ER with 2pc Crimson/Gladiator.

Im gonna build Klee next so hoping a CW Sands drops to give XL a 4pc. She was one of my first characters, finally got her to almost a complete build!

I wish more of my characters were built well. Artifact RNG is so brutal :(

Anyways Im up to a lot of Fates now. I only hit 74 pity on Raiden banner and I already have enough Fates to get my pity along with a second 5*. Considering how many reruns are coming up I might be able to afford a 3rd 5* before the next banner I care to summon on comes along.

Theres a lot of comical and/or sad stuff you can find in the game. Like poor Diona. Shes trying her hardest to ruin the wine industry so her dad will spend less time drinking and more time with her I believe, but has no idea she was blessed by a fairy so every drink she makes turns out incredible regardless of the bad ingredients she uses.

How hard were the last ones to find? I've got most of the last tier to go still.

Finally got around to completing all the puzzles/seelies that I had marked on my map for Watatsumi Island. Exploration Progress 89%.

Ngl, I kinda lost interest for a bit when this island was released. It looked daunting and not fun to explore but I think I hit every part of this island now. Just gotta find these last chests/puzzles/etc.

Oh my Ganyu. Got more billets or whatever this week from bosses. I think I might finally have all the Inazuma 4* weapon blueprints now, but I dunno if any are worth using without doing some research. Still gotta put in a lot of work on the islands since I have a ton of side questing and stuff to do

Whether or not it's "worth" using, I made an R5 Hamayumi because I have so many bow users and not enough bows. Currently on Ganyu.

I finally got off my ass and completed* Dragonspine, because Childe needs some god damn artifacts. Very cool (heh) area with some neat lore. Though I'm not sure what it says about me that my favorite areas on the map so far are the ones that are trying to kill you.

*(mostly, I think I only have crimson wishes left to do)

Also going to hit AR50 soon which means the ascension mat farming begins once again...

Yeah I've been to Inazuma, the other favorite place is Seirei. Yashiori is also neat although I have not explored enough of it to say if it's more annoying than not yet.

I had kind of this issue too when I was behind on the Archon quests. You have to make a conscious effort to progress the story because just logging in and doing dailies and resin gets you SO much exp over a long period of time. Even now I have a ton of sidequests and exploration to do.

Sure looks that way. Gonna make a break for it as soon as Mondstadt rep is maxed because those bounties are going to waste at that point. Also, I want to open up the new artifact domain for 45 since it's easily the most resin-efficient place you can go. (I was of this mind before zy0x released a video on that topic today.)

Hu Tao banner is apparently Thoma, Diona, and Sayu? Those are all really useful supports for me (C2 Diona tho...) but I don't particularly care about Hu Tao so I guess I will be strong and save my gems.

I'm saving for Shenhe, but I can certainly gamble to try to pick up Thoma or Sayu, neither of whom I have. Even if Hu Tao shows up early I'm not complaining about C3 for my fave. It's a nice banner.

I'm not saving for anyone in particular but I'm new enough that a lot of reruns are value for me. I mostly need the good 5* supports. And while I also lack a hypercarry which Hu Tao is, I don't NEED it to be Hu Tao specifically so I'm not excited.

I kinda want Itto, but since I lack Zhongli and Albedo it seems like a bad idea. My next best Geo support for him is...Geo Traveler? I dunno about that. If Yae Miko has good synergy with Raiden then I'll want her, but otherwise I'm fine.

All I know is that in 500 years when Dendro releases, I need to have Baizhu and his snake friend.

So do people typically do all of the weekly bosses all the time? Now that I've have all five for a few weeks I don't know if doing more than 3 is a good use of my resin. Plus the AR50 domains are much less breezy. Azhdaha was already a nightmare I needed co-op to beat at level 80, I don't even want to think about doing that at 90.

The only thing I'd really miss is bilet drops but I don't have a super pressing need for them at the moment since I'm eventually ditching Prototype Crescent on Xiangling for Dragon's Bane, and I'm not currently using anyone else with a crafted weapon.

I don't know about others, but yes, I do all five each week. I think even at 60 resin it's a reasonable deal to have a billet drop chance + some artifacts and gems. In my case though I don't highly value resin anymore because I've been playing for a while and have tons of everything. Since you're a newer account and your characters likely still need a good amount of work it makes sense to do fewer. Just do the ones that drop materials for characters you might want to raise the talents of, especially for your main DPS. The boss drops accumulate quite slowly so you don't want to be behind on those.

I do all the bosses every week

I stopped killing Dvalin and the Wolf. I'd probably also stop killing Childe if the cost weren't discounted to 30, but I'll drop him when there's a new world boss to replace him. I've been killing them for so long that I have all the talent materials I can reasonably need -- considering new characters won't use them. I personally feel that these are the only reason to kill world bosses, so there's zero reason to go back.

These are good points. I'm still in the process of building characters but have just been focusing on my "mains" so far. I still will need to build more up though so I think maybe I'll get a small stockpile from the bosses I'm not currently using and then stop until I need more.

I've got plenty of Fragile Resin still so it's not a big deal, but I've been saving that for this big ascension mat and artifact grind once I'm done with this event.
