Meanwhile, I could literally roll out of bed and drive 7 minutes away to buy a gun from my local Academy today. Another guy I know had an entire fucking assault rifle shipped to him via UPS from a gun store down here. It's goddamn motherfucking Texas, there's more guns than parking spots down here. If you want to have the responsibility of being a gun owner, you should be responsible for them if they get in the hands of a killer (outside of extraneous cases like someone breaking into your house and stealing a firearm). Maybe people will start locking their guns up in cabinets or safes when they are actually held responsible when their poorly raised sociopathic little fucks go and cause a rampage. Figured if the dude busted in he'd start shooting immediately so I could probably disarm him quickly. If he walked forward a few steps I would literally be behind him. Everyone else moved to one side of the room out of the initial line of fire if he were to burst in. We also taped black poster board over the window. School didn't have any lockdown procedure so we just made shit up. I can't believe it's 2021 and School still don't have lockdown procedures...like why not? Anyhow, it was a false alarm. A kids father used his sons truck to go hunting that weekend and forgot to remove his rifles from the truck bed. Kid took the truck to school without looking. A campus security guard saw it when doing his rounds in the parking lot. Poor kid got charged and everything.
