based on price. 5000, 10000, 15000, 20000

if it's your first house discount, the price will show as 2500, 5000, 7500, 10000

That happens if you have a perk that reduces weight. For example reduce leather weight. It bugs out.

What the hell

I started it up last night for like 5 min just to see if my laptop could run it and I was able to hit 30fps at 1080p low settings

So I decided to actually start playing and now I cant even break 15fps at 720p low settings. The fuck

I can easily max it out at over 60 on my desktop but I wanted to chill in bed damn it, not go to my game room

laptop specs:

i5 8300h
1050ti
16GB RAM

Any tips for speedleveling? Im like 72 hours in and only level 38 lol. No queue times on my world.

The best way to level is just to spam town board quests, but it gets pretty boring. I basically just slammed the main quests and then finished area quests in the regions I liked (WW, EF, BW, ER) or had good rewards (WF, RS). For BW in particular I wanted my first house to be there so I would just do all the town board quests + PVE faction quests (since my server is 90% purple and I am green, no PVP).

Your first house gets a 50% discount and to buy the best house (most storage opportunities, shortest TP cooldown) you need 30 territory rep, hence the BW grind since it saves 10k gold.

EDIT: The town board quests are the best because they can range from something simple like "get water" to quests that scale to your level (e.g. use hard to find cooking mats to make a specific item). The simple ones are... well simple and are basically just free exp. The harder ones might require you to buy some mats but can give more xp than some of the harder quests. I skip the ones that I find annoying/too expensive (aka like all the fishing ones and then a few misc ones)

I actually did towm board quests for a while but found them too repetitive and not that fast compared to doing the main story.

Im finally level 40 and spent the last 2 levels pretty much leveling up my trades to be able to craft starmetal tools. It was hell.

Spear FEELS slept on, but i don't have enough experience with other weapons to know if it's underrated.

After maxing my hatchet and SnB, I wanted to mix it up, and I was getting frustrated leveling in the 50 areas due to my own stubbornness of not wanting to really upgrade my gear until 60. However, i can tank mobs better using spear due to the constant CD reduction and CC. I still have my heavy gear and all points dumped into const. But the same mobs that would give me trouble, are super easy using a spear instead of trying to out sustain them with hatchet berserk or defiant stance heal.

I had to kill a level 57 elite, and i was able to keep him staggered, knocked down, stunned pretty much the whole fight.

I think your next zone is weavers fen, that places sucks. Lots of water. I didnt stay that much there. Im currently level 44 and went back to crafting move for more bag space

You're about to hit Restless Shore. That place is worse. It's small, but the damn town layout is absolute garbage.

I got to level 42 and finally hit 30 standing with everfall. Need to make some more coin before i feel comfortable buying a house though. Got all my gathering and refining skills above 100 now, except fishing is only 30. Probably wont get to play much the next few days
