Thanks for the tag. I'm thinking of drinking later on, counselling hasn't been coming through for me. The counsellor I've seen the most is leaving, and the other counsellor I've been lucky enough to get in with has had to push face-to-face appointments back multiple times. I've had one appointment with her back in August, and due to the statewide lockdown and a close shave with a COVID contact site in my case, I haven't seen her since.

I was feeling the thirst pretty bad before I had lunch, but I might be able to pull through now I've had something to eat and I'm not all crazy.

I was trying to stop drinking for a while. I think I'm gonna drink to bridge the gap between counselling sessions, because the stretch between them is rough.

Counselling isn't for everyone, personally it's helped me a lot with a lot of life-altering events and the associated stress and uprooting that it's caused. The issue for me has been getting the counselling in the first place - I can't do video chat at home because the walls are paper thin, and COVID being confirmed where I live means we've locked down harder than a nun's asshole which makes face to face appointments nearly impossible.

The sessions are great - necessary, even. The issue is with the availability thanks to this fucking virus.

I haven't had much experience with counselling, I tried AA a few times and it just wasn't really for me, i'm not a spiritual guy at all. I've heard both sides, I guess it depends on the person and the therapist.

Hmm strung out drug addict friend of mine stole his parents credit card when he was here a few weeks ago. Somethin like $500 BUT he's actually one of those people in charge of bottling plants and factory operations. He's never in the same place for more than a little while. I don't think he knows what he's actually doing honestly.... I've never seen a single person bounce around the country like a pinball like this before in my life.

I found about him ripping off his parents and I told him if he shows up here again ill call the cops. He blew up on me and my neighbor because that's how he knew I knew.... so I got shit from both sides, but fuck that. Now I find out he's in Seattle tonight and his mom texts me to be nice to him and be coherent and sober......... all bets are off now....

He was here a week ago I think and I was PISSED. I don't let him inside anymore so I went outside with him and we got face to face and he's showing that caved in cheek bone look that crack/meth addicts get. I can't fight him because he'll probably kill me. People wacked out on drugs like that can't even feel tazers. So I just played nice and talked my way out to him finally fuckin off.

He attacked his brother at Thanksgiving last year so it's no unreasonable it could happen to me. I would just rather not it get to that point where I have to take something with me to defend myself.

There are tons of historical accounts of people taking bullets, swords, arrows, shrapnel etc and continuing on for a while. Throw drugs into the mix and you probably have someone nigh unstoppable without a complete incapacitation of some sort

What else that is pretty popular that you haven't watched? I'm a pretty big movie guy, I watch at least 200 a year if i'd have to guess, lot of television series also. Benefit of being able to work from home, when I am doing computer shit, I have Netflix or whatever on, if something grabs me, I go back to it when I can pay better attention.
