How else do you exit a bus? I'd say those trying to board and blocking someone trying to exit are in the wrong.

Stands in front of the subway door when people are trying to exit

This is the opposite of the first one.

Stands in the middle of the escalator

It's an escalator. Why does it matter where on the step someone stands?

Uses self-checkout but is horrendously slow and needs help from employee anyway

I blame the store for not having any registers open.

The rear door, which is the intended exit. Because you board at the front, where the driver accepts fare. This facilitates simultaneous boarding and exiting, keeping buses on schedule.

Because your stationary ass is blocking the people who have places to be. Ideally you would walk and not stand still . But if you must, stand to the right to let others pass.

You need to relax, take a breather. There are lots of benches and such in malls (places I usually associate with escalators) and no one uses them cuz they get ample rest on the escalator

I just "love" the slow-ass people who waste no time getting in your way but take forever getting out of it. They're usually the same person who does one or three of the things listed, because who cares if they're in your way? Or anyone else's?

Depends if you're going past someone standing still or someone trying to also walk up the escalator. If they're standing still, moving past is fair. If they're walking up but not as fast as I'd like, I wouldn't try to pass.

The only "escalator" with the "stand right, walk left" I've ever seen are the moving walkways at airports.

At a mall, just be patient and people watch.

If being delayed by 30 seconds means you don't get to the places where you need to be, you should have left sooner, and expecting other people to help you correct that mistake isn't reasonable. This one's frustrating purely because you'd feel better if you were moving faster, not because of any objective harm.

Escalators that are built wide enough to facilitate two lanes (walking and standing) makes someone who blocks the whole thing an ass. Full stop. It's even more true on long escalators (2+ minutes if you're standing still).

I chose "Stands in front of the subway door when people are trying to exit" only because I had a variation of this happen to me this morning on the way to work. Dude was checking his phone full tilt at the top of a set of stairs leading to our subway connection and was just not paying any semblance of attention at all. Right in the middle (of course...) blocking like 100 people behind him. And a big dude too, which is why nobody said anything haha.

I'll also say you should've added "Guy who is letting you make a left turn but doesn't wave or blink his lights to let you know he's doing this"

Sure, and that's annoying, but it's also not objectively harmful unless you're on your way to save a life (in which case, you'd be yelling at people to get out of the way and their oblivion doesn't matter).

That's the emergency door. Passengers aren't suppose to open that on their own. Plus there's something like a 3 foot drop since they didn't put steps there.

You posted a picture of a greyhound bus. Greyhound is a private for-profit company.

Public transportation is typically understood to be not-for-profit services like local bus and rail lines owned and operated by governments. Maybe you've been operating under a different definition.
