I am aware of two ways to use a LBG. Neither involves caring about what its commands are.

1) As a Limit Break Overstrike. Summon it with a full Limit Gauge, immediately use its SB equivalent command, it will do its damage and then go away.
2) To tank one action. If the Guardian's attacks push a Dreambreaker to 40%, then the Dreambreaker Full Break hits the Guardian and not your party - even if the Guardian was using its SB equivalent and is thus unsummoned immediately afterward. You can also bring one out before an Argent Odin "I hate Slots 2&4" turn, wait until the attack comes out, and then activate the Soul Break equivalent to unsummon it.

Hmm. Well, disappointing fest so far and that might be my last pull. We'll see how bio banner goes tomorrow, but I also want to save at least two pulls for the XII event and maybe 1-2 half priced 6A revival pulls if we get those. One more fest stamp does get me a USB though.

Dealing with the sleep mechanic was annoying (and I burned a turn or two because of not hitting the tear), but it only took me a few tries to beat him.

That was 40 magicite dungeons for me, so I got a ticket which I used on VII:

Bio Wodin is tonight, anyone daring enough to take him day 1?

I have FF1 Thief and Edgar Awakenings, but I doubt those will be enough. Maybe I should do a pull on the bio banner since both their syncs are there.

I want to do 3 pulls accross both bio banners regardless, since I need Instructor Quistis. I'll do 1 pull on banner 1, then 1 pull on banner 2, and I'll decide where to do the last pull based on the results of the first 2 pulls.

I'm definitely going to try! I have both Thief awakenings and one awakening for Edgar. (Also Thancred but I doubt he makes the team). Preliminary team is Thief, Edgar, Quistis, Quina, and Elarra. That gives no Achromatic Aegis counter though so I might need to sub in Orran for Quina. My Quistis is pretty useless aside from chaining so I hope I draw something for her, and for Edgar and/or Thief. Getting relics for Kefka or Leila would be kinda awkward.

Seems like a little easier, well on par with the weaker Wodins at 4.8 million HP and no damage type reduction. Most of the challenge is due to how neglected Bio has been until now.

Is the only way to get Ultross magicite other than the one from the mission buying it?

I have the shards to do so (and its not like Im gonna spend them on anything else anyway), but if so it seems like you could be pretty screwed for the event missions if you didnt already have a stash of them!

Yeah there's no Ultros boss fight so only the mission and Kite's Shop.

And like you said there's no reason to keep magicite shards otherwise.

Dang I got close to beating Bio Wodin but I ran out of turns... really wish I had another cap break for Edgar or Theif.

I beat Bio Odin! Dark Odin that is, never did him before so he was the warm up.

So far just did one pull on the banner, got Quistis AASB (yay) and Kefka AASB (eww). I'll probably need more but I figured I'd give it a try with what I have.

BTW is it just me or is Edgar's HA pretty crappy? I mean the imperiling effect is nice, but 3x1.0 is completely terrible damage.

Yeah I didn't even bother with it, well because I knew I was never gonna use him for fire and electric superbosses so I just got the new poison imperil machinist. Didn't know his HA was THAT weak though. Plus his awakening has an imperil chase anyway.

Oh yeah looks like its the same as Caters (except swapping in poison for ice)

I havent bothered crafting that even though I have both of her AAs and shes on four of my teams... seems questionable that its even better than the 4* imperils to me

Multielement seems overtaxed on a lot of the HAs tbh (and here youre being taxed two hits which is just ridiculous)

Yeah, I didn't bother crafting it either since it's so weak. The regular machinist ability does more damage, more hits, and imperils for 3 times as long (but only 1/2 the time).

3/11 - another stupid Kefka AASB, Edgar sync, Quistis dyad

Ugh, hate Kefka even more now after he spammed my pulls. But the Edgar sync should help especially since it's a bio armor (I have two now).

Real Bio Odin down! 16/17... still have to get magic wind weak someday. Probably after next fest if I can get a Fujin relic on b5.

Next up I think is FF6 Bahamut with my new and improved Edgar.

I just used RW chain. Quistis needed her SB gauge to do damage, so using her for chaining was out of the question. I was thinking about using Leila's Chain, bit with her not having any other decent SB, plus being limited to a single cast, I didn't want to risk it. Looking back, she might have been sufficient though.

I never liked Kefka as character but he did some serious work here with that Dyad + AASB combo
So much actually that I could pretty easily push Odin past phase I without seeing Argent Zantetsuken.

However, comboing the Switch-Draw Dyad with AASB is pretty annoying. First you activate the Dyad, then you have to use an ability to empower bio, and only then did I cast the AASB, so I wasted quite a bit of time before I could get those sweet 29,999 hits.

Another ticket another dupe, and a not rank up one either, Raines quickcast LMR. Ugh.

Nice, it's hard for WoL to use that dyad because he's so weak but still nice pull!

I finally got a new awakening with a ticket, Y'shtola DPS! Well I needed a third lightning mage DPS for Nexus Kraken with two cap breaks and it imperils, something very rare among lighting mages. Problem is... it's Y'shtola.

Maybe Garnet and Edge can carry most of the fight while Y'shtola is just there for chain and imperil support? I was thinking of Dream Selecting Ashe sync 2 but maybe I don't need it now? But I can't seem to put faith in Y'shtola as a DPS...

These tickets have not been good to me. But since the rest of my fest has been amazing, it kind of evens out.

Krile LBO. I was excited at first when I saw whip because I thought it was Rydia. But a new limit break is better than nothing.

Krile's LBO has one of the best animations where her butt catches on fire and she runs in a panic.

Plus she's going to get a 6 hit earth/fire summon HA in the future.

I've got nothing against Krile but she'd probably need her sync and dyad to break into my magic fire team (I just have her awakening). And to use her in realm I'd need some stuff for Gogo in order to run a mage team there.

You can use Krile for earth too, she's pretty decent.

I was lazy today and didn't feel like losing to Kalavinka striker so I used a record marker and I got a 5% robe for Fusoya! He's 5/5/8 now!

I've had 5/5/8 for FuSoYa for a while and of course I can't seem to get it for Golbez...

(And I haven't even gotten a fourth armor for Rosa despite doing several manual runs of the 400 dungeon)

You can get a 5% armor for Rosa from the Armor Construct if you do enough damage to him.

Opposite problem with me and Golbez, I keep getting his stuff even though I already got 5/5/8 from Armor Construct.

I was actually thinking about lensing that Tellah USB, so that's not awful. Guaranteed triple-cast when combo'd with his AASB sounds sweet, though the self-ko after 15 seconds is a problem if the boss lives through it.

Today's fest daily got me Thief AASB1, a Switch Draw Wind/Bio SB on a Bio+ armor. Thief is on my FF1 Cardia short list, I'll definitely find use for a new AASB on him, but it sure would have been nice to draw this before clearing Bio Odin.
