whenever i get around to creating a userscript that can dynamically submit posts to the database as saves with a highlight and a click

... maaaaaaybe after I clear today's lufenia i might actually get started on figuring that out if demand is there

okay I actually have been working on this and I've pretty much got the front-end worked out... as well as rebuilt the database with better consistency and redundancy control that I mentioned wanting to do before (the records site is still just connect to the old stuff for now)

but yeah


so when I'm in a Save My topic, it extracts the contest/run/round detail that all saves will belong to, from the title (if something goes wrong I can see and tweak in those fields)



then for each post by default it will fill the save field with the first word of each post, since that's what most casual saves do. but whenever that's not the case I can either type the save manually, or just highlight some text within the post and hit Scan and it'll be copied over

Saver and Timestamp fields are of course just hidden fields extracted from the post data so no need to tweak with, all that's left is to make a submission form and connect the back-end

I'll wait for the next round before I do any more work on it but yeah I might actually get back to logging saves >_> ofc I'll have to make an lfaqs equivalent script for the purged ones but that'll be minor to swap around

I considered it, but since Natwaf stopped participating, Id be the only Mobius saver, and that would suck.

I dont exactly have it in me to be a sole saver anymore, like youve done with Layle.

I'm not a very dependable ally though. That and we'd need a lot of my favorites out for me to even consider.

Genesis and X-Death were both booted though!
