BUMPED2002 08/30/21 8:18:41 AM #1:	Hawke played in the movie "Dead Poet's Society" with Robin Williams and he says Williams was irritating. Hawke said Williams would crack jokes on set and that irritated Hawke because he claims Williams didn't know when to let up. As I get older, I realize there is something intimidating about young peoples earnestness, their intensity, said Hawke. It is intimidating to be the person they think you are. Robin was that for me. Later in life, he had issues that directly contributed to his suicide. In-between? Something like ADHD or bipolar was certainly a possibility, but as far as I know it went undiagnosed if so. It's mostly a question of how much someone's over the top persona is an act and part of their stage presence, and how much they can damp that down and be "normal" with friends and family. It's the difference between Dwayne Johnson and The Rock. The Rock is awesome and charismatic and fun to watch, but you'd absolutely hate having to live with him for any length of time - you'd get tired of his shit real fast.
