I will promise you will scream at your TV, especially post game in the fetid runs when you're getting into the hundreds of levels even after you think you're good at the game. But when it's all over, you'll have found one of the best games ever made. And you can trust it's well coded and free of crashing bugs and crap too. So many rogue-likes don't do this you just die and whoops restart the game with maybe a few upgrades try again. This game actually rewards you even with success and failure because you get more story threads and interesting things to learn in the story. Shit even if you complete a full run and finally "beat the game" for the first time that doesn't end the game and show the final cut scene. I guess vet gamers just get good enough over the years. For example. Remember Ninja Garden on Xbox back on the early 2000s? My friend Keith and I got it at the same time. He was hyped. He loved it. Dude never even got past the first boss. Like wtf. How to you buy a game and that's the extent of it for you? lol Anywho, I went from being shit at it to totally ninja master rating on highest difficulty. I never did play the sequels. Anyway, I'm going to try and platinum this game before Tales of Arise comes out. Honestly I feel inadequate, but hell, I felt that way about Bloodborne too. If I just stick with it, eventually I'll make it. I just wish I was better quicker. Oh yeah one last example. My brother isn't a gamer really. But he loved Kingdom Hearts. He got to Maleficent and couldn't beat her and just stopped there. Forever. That blows my mind. Some people just don't have the patience to die over and over. I think he gave it 5 tries and that was it. It's people like him that made me reconsider the journalist difficulty level. I would rather people be able to see the story. It's amazing how if you force yourself to stick with a weapon long enough, you can find a build that you enjoy. The automatic fire spear split into 3 with chain and jolted lightning is sickening.
