I think I watched it a couple times as a kid, but basically a bunch of people get locked in a bank (or something) and it's like an escape room puzzle or something... and near the end they end up triggering some sort of failsafe and a bunch of lasers turn on and kills like half of the survivors outta like nowhere, it's completely unexpected because WTF, why does a bank have lasers

...I think it's a bank, it has them old large wooden/oak or whatever cubicles like old banks did.

I think it was a 60s movie so it might have been, like, an episode of some show like Get Smart but I don't know if anyone died that often even offscreen in them shows.

it's much much older than that, it was definitely like 60s~70s in production value... something along the lines of Maximum Overdrive

but if that Escape Room movie is actually a REMAKE, then maybe I can use it as a jumping off point for ma googling

I mean if Kevin Bacon was in it IMDB would have the listing, shit even if you take a case of a cameo in a movie that is uncredited IMDB has it 99 times out of 100.
