I forgot how different season 4 of veronica mars was. Lots of drugs and shootouts and a guys head blowing up pretty graphically. The original was tamer than it needed to be even on upn or wherever it aired.

I need more of this. Iirc it ends on a cliff hanger too. Still have 2 eps to go.

Well her dad was, she was still in hs when it started so she wasn't really official.

Season 1 was really good... 2 and 3 were good but a step down.

4 is right up there with season 1 and has the benefit of not having to be network TV friendly.

It sounds terrible... I only watched it cause of kristen bell originally but the writing and most of the casting is great.

They did the movie in like 2014 iirc... Kristen bell and rob Thomas (the producer not the musician) were forced by the studio to prove there was interest by doing a Kickstarter. Theres some good inside jokes they do about getting it made... but 8t was too fan servicey and really kinda mediocre.

Season 4 came out 2 years ago and its way way better.

I watched it when it first came out but im re watching it now and fuck its good. Plus season 4 adds jk simmonds and Patton Oswalt as regulars.

I've had my eye on that NES console and TV Lego set for a while, not much of a Lego guy but I was when I was young, and my nephew got me the Mos Eisley Cantina set for my birthday this year. It's still in the box, I might keep it that way idk yet. He asked to build it with him so we may crack it open one day.

I'm sitting on several thousand dollars worth of lego backlog. Extra-super pathetic.
Some of these sets are worth ten times what I paid for them, because laziness.

I had a bunch of sets from the Pirates, Medieval, and I think it was Robin Hood, at least it was like tree houses and Robin Hood looking guys with bows and arrows. I don't even want to look to see what they are worth now because I had like 6-7 sets of each, I was obsessed. It became two huge totes of loose blocks and then parents donated it to Salvation Army when I joined the service. My biggest set was a pretty huge castle, pretty confident it was this one.

I apparently have all three Ecto-1 lego sets. I don't even remember buying the $200 one.
Also a fourth one, if we count Lego Dimensions.

That's crazy, lol. I was trying to remember what one it was but I definitely remembered the draw bridge, that was the appeal of the set when I wanted it as a kid. I had a bunch of the medium sets, and one that was like a glow in the dark ghost in some wardrobe or something, it was a tiny one for like $6.

I remember having a hell of a time with the sails on the pirate ships too, trying to get them all tied up right and I could barely tie my shoes.

I had that and another one that had a buncha little huts and stuff with Lego foliage you could snap on to make the huts all disguised... i loved having my little Robin hood hidey holes set up near the castle so they could ride in and do raids. Lol.

I was poor in the "lego castle" era. The 80s were a weird time for my UAW dad. There was a GM layoff long enough that he became a cop in the meantime.

That may be why I have two closets full of unassembled lego right now.

I went for a quick night swim at the beach and a gaggle of drunk teen girls started talking to me and I thought "I'm old this is awkward," so I started looking around at random shadows and said "I just did a buncha mushrooms, I gotta keep walking."

Then ignored them and came home.

Somehow that just seemed the easiest way outta there.

Yea but has anyone done it yet? And i have stories upon stories because for a solid 15 years I was high and drunk as fuck pretty much every single day.

I was out in Kelowna with my buddy one year after Shambhala and we met these two chicks and we started drinking with them and went back to their place and we were having a good time. Nights winding down and the blonde one had been super flirty with me the whole time. So after her friend goes to bed and my buddy passes out in the grass, we start making out and fuck. After we finish she tells me she was 16 and I was her first. I was only 19 at the time so it wasn't super weird but I felt super fucking weird after.

I'm thankful I've never had to experience that. I've had the shakes pretty good and sometimes I get weirdly emotional. Like just some silly sappy shit on a random mediocre show, or some random dialogue in a book makes me start to tear up a little. Lol.

I dont know how long that can take though... longest I've gone without drinking after years of daily drinking is 6 days.

I feel like making it that far without them probably means I'm in the clear if I really successfully continue on cutting back.

I'm gonna be drinking a lot of green tea for a while though.

Very first Skate just hit Game Pass, even though playing Skate after playing the 2nd and 3rd is like kissing your sister. You can't even hop off the board, it's a lot of awkward angles and jumps to get up stairs on your board.
