Heres where I'm torn. Who has creative control over the characters? Has he historically been allowed to design a character as he pleases and it only became a issue over this? If so they can get fucked. If it was a case where hes always has to cater to how they wanted the character to look well then shut up and do your job.

Looks like a group issue though which I guess makes it trickier but if hes always had to cater to what the majority wanted once again just do your job.

That said character looks fine even if being a tad chubby I think would fit the look of the face better.

If I was making a game though if I wanted something in a game of probably be impossible to budge on the matter.

From the twitter feed I linked above. Here he clearly claims that giving a character a figure harms people, and said linked to real sexual violence.

Fellow men in gamedev. This is an example of one of the VERY SMALL THINGS that build up over time to make life miserable for women and marginalized people in our industry. Something as simple as putting titties on a space rat can harm people.

It breaks people's trust when you allow things like this to happen unchallenged. If you don't push back against tiny little things, like giving Rivet tits, you're essentially saying those things don't matter. If the small things don't matter, where's the line for bigger things?

I am not perfect and I have let things like this happen unchecked before. It happened at my first job, and I regret some of the choices I made when making characters there. It's not fucking worth it. Speaking up about small things heads off Blizzard-scale bullshit.

I haven't been looking for them, people have just been posting his business. But he made post about wanting Finn Poe and Rose to have 3 way. When his words here ring hollow . Other posters have also claimed that he blocked black people for calling him out on his racism.

Why I posted is , just because of the linking to real world things , and not just saying oh it was battle over getting her boobies. When he acted like making this stand was making a stand for a safer work place it rubbed my the wrong way. He is linking his co-workers who just wanted to a sexy rat/fox thing. He's saying that if men purposefully disregard or ignore women's input on stuff like a character having boobs on Rivet it can lead to bigger things about women being disregarded like what happened at Blizzard.

It's one thing for different sides to have creative differences, it's another to accuse one of those sides of being enablers of sexual harassment if not accusing them of being sexual predators themselves.

I think it was the right decision. Rivet looks way better without a pointlessly added chest area. You can tell she's like, a girl because of stuff like the lighter fur colour. She shouldn't look that different from Ratchet.
