He Man and Skeletor are in every episode, mostly through flashbacks, but they had about as much screen time as they did in the original, so the complaint they are not in it, is unfounded.. I liked that they debuffed Adam in his base form so he no longer looks like He Man. I cried at the end of episodes four and five, if you watched them, then you know.
