I'm miserable single. I had two weeks alone when I first moved to Florida before my then girlfriend/now wife moved down for a teaching job and it was the worst thing ever.

Single. Yeah I get lonely sometimes. But I like knowing I can do whatever I want whenever I want cause I dont gotta consider what someone else wants.

I mean I still kinda do cause someone lives with me. But there's no I wanna play video games and they wanna snuggle or something. Or I wanna get drunk but they wanna go out and do something. I wanna go out but they aint in the mood. All sorts of things really.

I started dating early and only had a few month gaps between relationships until my twenties. I was then a bachelor with only a few flings but being single was kind of monotonous. Been married for ten years now. Its been good so far.

Yes and no. I liked having one night stands,fuck buddies and no commitments, but I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. I don't know if there is such a thing as the right one, or soul mates or anything like that. That seems unrealistic. But I've been in a very comfortable, stable relationship for 15 years, and I'm happy with him.
