I used to post on board 8 all the time and i was the most disliked poster at one point because i kept making random '(song here) vs. One Winged Angel' polls, which i intended to be a harmless gimmick but people got really pissed for w/e reason

Yeah I left board 8 a few years ago because its just a bunch of grumpy old men. Coming here was a breath of fresh air.

I just don't take any part of it serious enough to care that much. Some of the users here really need to unhitch the trailer for a few days and go enjoy the nice weather out there today.

One of the problems with not taking this place seriously is that there's people who post straight-up dangerous and false rhetoric that just can't be left alone.

By that people mean this place used to be active and there was a real sense of community. You used to make a topic and it would instantly be on page 2 or 3. You clearly have not been coming here long enough to understand that.

I guess you could say there's a missing community aspect, but that's purely down to the person. I had my own community topic once upon a time, but even so, busier board wouldn't necessarily equate to a tighter feeling of community.

CE has always been trolls, a myriad of awful options, clique topics, and gimmicks. That much has not and will never change.

Eh I don't really see a point in announcing your departure. All CE is for the most part is a source of entertainment

Whenever outside factors are heavily hitting me (and they kinda are rn) I just don't really post or go do something else. My AMP has consistently been in the double digits over the past year which I consider progress (though this time they aren't cause I got caught up in some large topics). Too many people that have closed their accounts ended up coming back anyway.

Yeah it was a bad idea to come back here at all after a month of not being here.
