That would be a normal reaction. Phil's reaction was to rant about how his trolls are insane for throwing money away to get a dude to lie since he has no clue who Phil actually is. So projection again, since his fans just throw money away every time they donate. I was on his stream for 5 minutes yesterday and Snowkarl made a donation and Phil's response was "we already talked about that Snowkarl so I'm not reading it aloud."

He never learned to practice what you preach.

How often does he say "if you like the content, please support it".

That means if you aren't getting any support, people don't like the content. An average person will know that means they have to make improvements. In Phil's mind it means he has to look for an outside source of the problem, rather than looking inward.

Now this works as long as you have whales to keep you afloat. But as we've seen, without his whales, he is nothing.

He does nothing to improve his content. Doesn't do colabs, doesn't play with his viewers, does norhing to reach a larger audience. Yet he will guilt trip his audience every chance he gets, because it is never his fault.

The night stream has been a problem for a long time. Remember all those Danganronpa streams where Pastryarchy's $50 tip was 3/4 or more of the total? Yet rather than making any changes to generate interest from others, he continued to play that game for one person. If he wasn't so lazy and stupid, he'd add an extra couple hours to the far more profitable day stream and scrap the night stream altogether.

Only $7 the last stream, he's going insane.

His whales still have money, but the smaller supporters have mostly stopped tipping. Like everything else, this is DSP's fault. He bitches so much about "support being slow" that it is clear even to his legit fans that he is not grateful for the smaller tips, only the big $50+ tips. So he is now being kept afloat almost entirely by just a few whales, which is a moronic way to operate.

The marathon tip goal is only $300? That's the most reasonable thing he's done in years.

I'm so confused. On one hand, that's a very reasonable tips goal for a marathon, if you have to have a tips goal.

But it makes no fucking sense compared to his usual goals, or his constant narrative that he's essentially in poverty.

I think the funniest thing is how being a pro fighting game player got him into debt. He took out loans and new credit cards to attend and play events when the prize pool was only a few thousand dollars, and he lost hundreds in money matches.

I have no idea why the fuck anyone would want to be a streamer as a career, it's volatile as all hell given how awful the systems at Twitch and Youtube work, and when would the cutoff point for retirement be? The upcoming marathon is apparently being held because the daily tips goal was not reached often enough during the week. So because his fans can't give him $300 every day, their punishment is that they have to give him even more money during another dull marathon of Fallout: New Vegas.

Apparently during the last gamepass marathon he was largely playing games he had already played before, like Halo.

I don't understand what the point of a game pass marathon is if not to play a variety of new shit in succession.
