I love Giant Schauzers. They are big, loyal, clever goofballs that are good at playing, running, destruction, and guarding. Uses lots of time, money, and love. They are kinda territorial so they should be the only pet you have. (They have strong prey drive to rodents)

Mutts are usually the best. Lab mix is good, as they tend to be sweet, Australian Cattle Dog or Boarder Collie, can be super smart and clever. Ive found anything much smaller than a Beagle and you often start to get a lot of the negative small dog traits.

Labrador Retrieve with Border Collis as a runner up. Much more easy to train, placid in nature and are a good sized dog when adults.

Pitbull.but anything in that size range is good. I dont like small dogs but dont wan a deal with a giant dog either

Sadly he is getting old, just turned 12 in May. Has some trouble with stairs, but for the most part still moves around fine, just not as active as he used to be. --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job! I'm not a huge dog fan (they're cute and nice and not for me) but I think a lot of collies are quite pretty, and I like the look of salukis with their pigtail ears.

Adopt, dont shop is ok only if you arent looking for a certain kind of dog. I had to get my giant schnauzer from a reputable breeder who was pretty darn far away.
