Denmark had a great run this year, but it really did feel like they were running out of momentum by Extra Time. They were the better team in the first half, but England looked better past that. It sucks for you danish supporters though that the two England goals ended up being an own goal (which Sterling would've gotten in anyway) and a result of a questionable penalty since you guys deserved a better exit than that.

But as an englishman, I am just so happy that England finally made it to the final for the first time in 55 years! I legitimately entered "I'll believe it when I see it" mode by 2010 after getting fed up of being upset of England exits over the years, so this tournament (alongside World Cup 2018) have really revived my faith in the squad. Here's hoping we finally win a major tournament after so long!

Bear in mind this went to VAR and they didn't overturn. I need to see it a few more times but the exact timing of Sterling going down when I'm not sure how he could even see the trailing leg gives ne pause

No one is saying that you did not deserve it.

But you did not deserve it being decided i that pen. You had the overall better match and needed an undeserved pen.

I remember the CL game against Juventus away a few years ago. Juventus (w/ Chiellini) hadn't conceded in months, but Kane scored and we largely outplayed them

The worst soccer reaction I've heard of was I think it was in south america where fans decapitated and dismembered a ref after the ref stabbed a player or something. Or I guess not "reaction" but behavior in general. Though I know ctes said just this tournament but I'm just musing.
