Also the new endless battle event is up. It's kind of annoying how you have to use the harpastrum. Too close and you miss. Too far and you miss. No real time time aim.

Got 2100 after a few tries. Did it on Hard with Chongyun Fischl Sucrose Diona. Pretty much ignored the targets except during the small gaps in between the waves.

And yeah, the spheres do target enemies. I discovered that it only does this for certain characters (bow users and catalyst users) but not others (sword users generally)

Also you HAVE to hit the target on the board, not just the board itself

I don't recommend alley Hunter for Venti even if you have it at R5 because there's going to be times you want him on the field for a while.

Same feels. Literally got him C1 with this new sword, and not a single one of these things were intended. I wanted Rosaria and got Kazuha twice before her, and then I wanted to try to get that Alley Hunter for Fish, and I got the sword instead. I dunno. It's like the game just wants it no other way.

But I'll say, he's a blast. I also love how much damage he can do. I'm really not disappointed. I almost want to use my next guarantee pity on a second C for him, but I am not going to.

He slots in that weird category of technically not being broken, but being so good at what he does that I almost always want to use him in team comps. Others like that are C6 Fischl and C6 Noelle, as well as Xingqiu.

I have C6 Sucrose and frankly Kazuha is just a better Sucrose (as a sub DPS, at least). As a support, he'd need C2 obviously.

And like you said, his DPS is extremely good especially for a Sub DPS.

Kazuha's main issues are
a) he's not a cute girl
b) he overlaps Sucrose and Venti
c) he comes right before the Ayaka banner and Sayu banner

So yeah, he may be fun and useful, but I can't care about his personality or looks, already have more than enough anemo characters that overlap his roles, after Klee C2 I can no longer afford to waste my primogems for a while and after Tartaglia+Noelle+Yanfei my resources need some recovery time.

In fact, I'm just about to finish collecting characters, so Mihoyo might want to think of something to keep me "buying" and raising characters.
Pyro: 2 main dps
Anemo: 2 dps/utility hybrids, dps/healer hybrid imminent
Cryo: 1 main dps, 1 healer/utility, 1 main dps imminent
Electro: 1 main dps, 1 sub dps, 1 sub dps/utility hybrid imminent
Geo: 1 main dps / healer / utility hybrid
Hydro: 1 main dps, 1 healer, one ??? coming someday in the future

So yeah, I don't need Pyro, Anemo, Cryo, Electro at all now that Ayaka, Trav-E and Sayu will fill the roles. I don't need healers coz I have all types of healer roles covered.
What I need now is

1. A unique geo char I like in looks, personality, gameplay, who isn't a healer and not just any generic boring main dps. Like, maybe a Ganyu-ish geo loli archer char who specializes into breaking all shields and armors, while applying petrify or resistance purge.
2. A powerful passive hydro applier, who isn't Mona or Xingqiu. Like if Mihoyo makes Kokomi a sub dps who spawns a bubbling pool field, trapping enemies inside it in bubbles and constantly applying hydro to them? I would invest deeply for Ganyu and Ayaka freeze groups.

And after I finish that, the only thing left for me to do would be replacing and permanently benching chars together with the power creep.
Mihoyo needs to create more permanent challenges like Spiral Abyss, except make them unique, force me to use more than 8 chars actively.

I get and don't get when people don't get excited about new characters. For me at least it's fun playing with different characters whether they're meta or not. I know it's now plausible for everyone to get every character but I'd honestly get bored if I used the same characters over and over. I kinda do this for Abyss already and I do need to start investing a little more heavily in specific characters but it's always fun to use different things.

Also, I honestly think sacrificial sword is his best weapon. Being able to use Jumpybudu twice is a big deal. You can Hold E and then Hold E again

I have C1, and with how fast I get his burst, I actually don't see the need for Sacrificial personally. But that's just me.

No. Mihoyo is actually fairly stingy. There's no such thing as a "generous" gacha IMO but some are definitely more generous than others.

It's not really. It's only good for people with really long cooldowns like Xingqiu. The best sword for Kazuha is probably the Primordial Jade Cutter but I haven't looked at the numbers yet.

Think its more that the sac sword lets Kazuya use his skill twice in a row that makes it a good pick for him rather than the energy charge.

Though if you have his C1 then yeah the sac sword does not help as much.

I would argue that they are very stingy with the gacha currency and mechanics, but the actual game itself is legitimately completely playable without spending any money at all. And I respect them for that.

Yes. If all you want to do is the archon quests you literally don't even need to wish at all even with the free gems. You can do almost all the events without wishing as well. The only things you can't do are get all the top high score rewards or spiral Abyss.

I've literally never spent a dime on my PS4 account, and I have Venti, Jean and Keqing - among lots of 4-stars.

Interestingly, I got Jean on literally my very first standard banner pull. The very first pull.

You mean Serpent Spine from the battle pass? Yeah the stacks stay while benched, but you also need to restack it every time you load into a new domain or map.

Hey I've been meaning to ask - is it a legitimate strategy to equip something Lion's Roar on Kazuha if I'm mainly using him with Fischl? Wouldn't that dramatically increase his DPS?
