For some reason people just don't seem to believe me when I say C6 Noelle is legitimately one of the best characters in the entire game. Her stat scaling results in some truly bonkers numbers, both offensively and defensively.

It's not very well known just how far Noelle's power and usefulness goes and tier lists like to underrate her coz you need C6 with good gear.
genshin.gg likes to mislead players greatly, it took so long for them to raise the ridiculously powerful Noelle and Sucrose to A and S tier respectively.

I'll likely be phasing her out of my team when Ayaka and Sayu come out though.

1. Tartaglia C0, Sayu C1/C2, Fischl C6, Traveler Ele C6
2. Ayaka C0, Barbara C6, Klee C2, Sucrose C6 / Venti C0

I don't have Mona and completely refuse to use Xingqiu, so my Ayaka team looks underwhelming. Not worried about freezing tho coz all I need is to hit the enemy a few times as Barbara to get the stagger going on Ayaka's burst victims. And with a multiplier like 4300% that is 100% crit, it should deal quite some pain.

My C6 Fischl with R5 Alley Hunter is unironically probably the single highest source of DPS (as a Sub DPS). Oz routinely hits for well over 10k. It's ludicrous.

From what i've seen recently everyone is gushing over how good Beidou is, at least on reddit that is, and she's been seeing a ton of use.

My search for Jean continues though. Just hit pity on standard again for C3 Qiqi. I should start keeping a daily tally until I eventually get her.

Just hit 50/50 pity and got a Diluc dupe. This was about 7 pulls after my second Kazuha, which was 5 after my first Kazuha. What's this luck lately.

Go for 2nd constellation or save guarantee for another character upcoming? The choices....

Hah, my best luck was pulling Hu Tao. Prefarming for her ended up getting a near perfect CW set. Had her 90 talents 999 day one. Then I pulled Homa on the first 10 pull I ever did on the weapon banner.

Skyward Blade will be lv90 if I decide I want to keep this gear.



What do you guys think about my Ayaka gear?
I want to keep my Aquila Favonia on Keqing and I'm not sure if I'll refine Black Sword R1.
She's a strong normal attacker, but I feel a lot of her power is hidden in the burst, so the recharge should make her capable of recovering it in time.
Critrate is high so that I can reach almost 100% on frozen enemies and she'll remain strong on enemies that aren't cryo.

The weakness is probably my low ATK? I can't tell how much I need because I don't have Ayaka yet, but she will be lv90 with lv90 weapon after I unlock and grind for her.

First run of the new Abyss. 34 stars. Venti is once again so OP he's literally broken.

As for Ayaka, that looks OK but I would honestly wait until they finish tuning her, especially since Inazuma brings new sets.

Yeah, if they switch her ascension stat to critrate, I guess my build would be ruined.
I doubt they'll make very big changes this late though, probably just base stat adjustments, QoL and multiplier / cooldown adjustments.

I don't like the thought of putting the recharge -> burst power or energy -> basic attack power sets on Ayaka. The consistency of the blizzard set is pretty nice for someone who has a very high hit count like Ayaka IMO.
Sayu's best seems to be Viridescent Venerer, too.

I definitely will grind the recharge set for Traveler Electro though.

Does crit damage do anything for an EM build? I remember hearing swirl cannot crit or something.

Vaporize and Melt can crit coz they just multiply damage.
Reactions that deal damage of their own (including swirl) don't crit.

You're thinking of Venti - his ultimate cannot crit because it only does periodic swirl damage. His e, however, can crit.

Anemo attacks that are up front damage will crit, but if they add a periodic reaction they won't make that reaction crit

And the one saving grace is that, as it turns out, he's the only character I have that uses Diligence books

That's part of why I decided to pull Kazuha lol, I was swimming in Diligence books since I stopped using Chongyun. Had no issue getting all his talents to 7+, just lacking mora to go further.

This is what I did. Even the goblet is HP. He can surprisingly still dish out respectable damage with a full HP build. The shield itself is pretty nuts. You can tank essentially every attack in the game. Doesn't matter what. You don't even need to bother dodging Boreas.

The only time I ran into problems is if I intentionally let Childe hit me with those foul legacy follow up attacks.

Since people made fun of how often I post, I'll just add this one last comment. Got Kazuha to Lv 50 and so far he's not what I expected. I guess I expected a more traditional sucrose / xingqiu sub DPS, but he's kind of a weird hybrid between a main DPS and a sub dps, almost like Childe. Pretty fun to play, though. Definitely not grossly overpowered, but I do think he has a lot more utility than most of the previous banner characters. Certainly not a one-trick pony like my C3 (ugh) Eula.

Just FYI - For those of you with both Kazuha and Childe, have Childe add Riptide to some enemies then have Kazuha do his jump-pull shenanigans and watch the hilarity

I thought he was pretty fun to play in the demo, but I'm not pulling for him when I already have a C5 Sucrose riding pine and an absolute shit assortment of swords available for him. I mean, maybe the Iron Sting would work, but I'd otherwise be gifting him a three-star sword and that would be an utter waste of a five-star character.

Mona is now my 16th Character to reach friendship lv.10 giving me the final achivement for friendship on Hero's Way. No idea how long until I reach the leyline requirement but I'll get there one day.

Man, I should really start building up all of my other characters. I was so much focused on Ganyu, Hu Tao and Eula that I have neglected all others. Only Xiangling, Fischl, Xinqgiu, Zhongli Qiqi and Lumine are usable to some extent. Zhongli is perfectly fine even at Level 69 but others are just meh

I just rotate out new teams as I max friendship characters, it takes some to max friendship so you have some time to plan out new characters although it doesn't always work it out since I technically don't have anyone to replace Mona since I just sided in Rosaria and Sucrose almost back to back.

All this time, and I still only have eight characters at Friendship 10.
One at 9, two at 8.

The time it takes to get one from 9 to 10 feels like it's as long as the time it takes to get them from 1-9.

Swirl can't crit, but the attack that triggers swirl can.
People here like to say Venti's burst can't crit, but yes it can crit too. (just not all of it, because a lot of damage comes from the reactions inside the burst, too)

This table sheet is a very good guideline for building characters that gets updated constantly, and it says put elemastery on all artifact main stats, priority on flower/feather substats, otherwise recharge.

Kazuha does like some crit since he's constantly slamming to apply the swirl and his burst direct damage scales higher than Venti's and Sucrose's. Plus since EM main stat is just flat out rare it's probably easier to get a crit rate circlet with EM sub stat. He naturally has EM so squeezing a ton into his artifact main stats is kinda overrated IMO.
